  • In this video, I share my experience of waking up at 5am for 340 days, highlighting the benefits and challenges it brought. I found that the quiet mornings allowed for extreme productivity, especially when I followed a strict routine of exercise, journaling, meditation, and learning, which I completed by 6am. However, this required a disciplined bedtime routine, with a strict 9pm bedtime to ensure I got at least 7.5 hours of sleep. I realized that by joining the 5am club, I essentially traded my evenings for mornings, which worked out well for me as a morning person. But this might not be feasible for everyone, especially those with an active social life. Despite the sacrifices, such as morning lie-ins and late-night socialising, the benefits for me far outweighed the drawbacks. The 5am club has allowed me to manage my busy work and family life efficiently, giving me some much-needed personal time. Although the routine might not suit everyone, I found it beneficial for my current life stage.
