Awesome performance John! Paul’s album is a true masterpiece and this song is one of the reasons why it will continue getting played for another 25 years and beyond ! Excellent job and thanks so much for sharing and spending the time with these songs! Take care ~ Jeff
I have been listening to this album for 45 yrs, and if I live long enough, I will be listening for the next 45. Definitely my favourite of the four solo albums.
I love ❤️ that song and that album!!!! Great choice, as not many people really understand how great this song really is. Great job capturing the spirit!! Take care.
Totally agree, Not sure why Pauls's album doesn't get the attention that it deserves, and this song was essential for the album, not to mention my teenage years.
@@JendellOverland This song would have fit perfectly on The Elder. In fact most of the song he wrote for this solo album would have. It makes me wonder how much better The Elder & Creatures of the night would have been if they never did those Solo Albums. I'm glad they did though because Ace and Paul's we both really good.
Boy You know their music {Kiss and solo} note for note and every note in between. I share that with you when it comes to the Blimp. Speaking of the Blimp. Fantastic shout-out short with the guy driving complete with a Zeppelin tire cover. >< Super nice playing Johnny. I really enjoyed this song. I will check it out further. How is the solo album overall?
How is the Paul Stanley solo album you ask? Let me just say it is my favourite album in the Kiss catalog. Hands down. I highly recommend grabbing a copy Rob, you won't regret it.
@@johnnyhawk1753 Thank you Johnny. I will pick up a copy this week. I have always been a fan of Paul as a person. I never really knew his music. I do not know if you like the song I Was Made for Lovin' You. But it takes me back to Coney Island in the summer of 79. I heard it shortly before I was going on the Cyclone roller coaster. It was blaring out of the speakers on the Himalaya ride. I did not even know it was Kiss until about a year later. Anyways. Every time I hear it I think of Coney Island during the endless summer of 1979. >< Every time I saw him on an interview he always came across like a real humble guy who loves his Motown, soul & funk. Thanks J~
@@johnnyhawk1753 I thought Ace had the better Album but Paul's was a close second. Gene's wasn't worth a shit in my opinion. I liked Peter's album better than that. Gene had so many great artists working with him too. you would have thought he would have had the best album. Funny how that is though. Bob Kulick did all the guitar solo's on Paul's album. he was truly amazing. Keep rocking these old classics. So many people are remembering them after you bring them up with your great covers. Take good care Johnny. Oh, I bet you were a school boy when you heard your first Beatles song. hahaha.. Just fucking with you. I bet you've had a few people mess with you over that old classic, tune. Peace.. Joe
How would this sound with Ace on guitar? Bill Aucoin told Paul how unhappy he seemed to be to him. And this song is really suicidal unhappy. But noble, precious.
Oh This is one of my favorite Paul Stanley songs Thank thank you
No problem, I love playing these songs. Glad you enjoyed it
👍👍 best album. Well played Johnny
Thanks brother
