- A video I found on google made by videographer MARK EVITTS. Its Ben singing the national anthem at a baseball game, I know that you hear the anthem alot but I love the way BEN did it haha can't get enough. Hope you all like it!

you can definitely hear the distinctive sound Ben's voice has in this video, when you've already compared it to other singer doing the national anthem. To me, much better than any other.

seriously ben is amazing. when i first start watching this i kept thinking to myself how is a rocker going to sing the national anthem. he has such a beautiful voice .. hands down. amazing talent.

Agreed. Its defiantly different than how people are used to hearing the Star-Spangled Banner sung. But something new and I LOVED it! The beginning was a bit shaky; like he was maybe a little nervous. I would be Its one thing to sing your music but that song has huge meaning, power and emotion that you obviously have show, or get pushed down its intimidating. But just a bit into it he gets into his place and owns it in my opinion Lots of Raw emotion that deserves to be in that song! Great Job Ben

dont get me wrong, i LOVE breaking benjamin....its just...his voice in his concerts and out in public singing like this just sounds....crappy.....again: i LOVE breaking benjamin...just a crappy public singing voice
ben's great but he gets off key and changes pitches a lot throughout the song though, but its hard to do it without music and just by ear. can't wait til the 4th album they're taking long enough so its going to be AMAZING!!!

well, that night, PNC BANK was promoting the Baseball game, so that might make some sence. your right, it does make sence that he would sing for his state.

I think it's minor league, BB is from Wilkes-Barre (sp?) PA, which is the home of one of the Yankee's farm clubs... Ben is amazing. I would like to be him.

@Dramity its a yell that you use more of the back of your throat and the lower part of your chest with instead of higher like normal.
He does it with the music lol. He's not that great of a singer at all IMO. He has a cool voice which translates well with cool music.
