It took the internet the first episode to get the dirt on Chris; so they are LYING about taking weeks to background check him. There is also pics of the Subway shop he owned (pis is of him in his uniform). He acted like he owned a restaurant on the level of a Beverly Hills restaurant. He lost the Subway a few months after it opened. Again, the internet found this out before episode two even aired.
It took you 5m because it was brought to your attention if they are taking a person’s word for it and speaks to their family and no one says anything how would you know what to check. We know because he brought it up. But being engaged it’s legal and binding how do know if a person has been engaged vs legally married. It’s not like he has a unique name searching for Chris Williams is a needle in a haystack. Chris is deceptive he was once a pastor he knows the right things to say.

All I had was his first name and was still able to get a background search on him (I knew where he worked, which led me to his linked in page, which gave me his last name and it was a piece of cake from there). It also took me 5min to bust a guy on a dating app that he had just gotten married (claimed he was divorced). Again, I knew his first name and where he worked. That led me to his Facebook page, which had his wedding pictures (that revealed he had been married for 4mos when I met him) It's so easy to internet check someone and takes 5min. All Paige had to do was go to the bathroom with her phone and start searching. OR, she could have had a friend do it for her at the reception.

Thinking the same thing, but I wonder if what we saw on the first episode came after they had already vetted him. Like what he said at the one on one interviews and behind closed doors differed from what he portrayed on camera. I think the experts could have done a far better job of vetting Chris. But I will agree with the Pastor none of the better guys in Atlanta applied to be on the show. So maybe all they got was Chris. Which is a sad state of affairs.

As soon as I saw his intro I knew this was going to get interesting. Then again hearing him after the wedding. However, the drama far exceeded my expectations. The level of disrespect Chris had for Paige was unlike anything I've ever seen. I felt horrible for her. But seeing her forgive him for everything because "God has a plan" was too much. I quickly stopped feeling bad for her and realized they both need help. I hope she makes a come back and she's a new and improved woman for the next show.
If I were the "expert"/matchmaker, here's how I'd test the candidate:. Hire a person to go to their work or some place they frequent. Drop something, see if they help, see if they get the door, that sort of thing.

Chris is truly a messy narcissistic person. I was over him, from the time he said he left being a Pastor because he wasn’t making enough money. If he truly was following God. He wouldn’t be solely focused on Money and Sex. Let alone when he said he wanted a Woman who is submissive and a freak. But after binge watching all of the episodes I discovered something else about him. He is manipulative. He keeps telling Paige things to keep her waiting. She is so laser focused on being married she is willing to grasp at any straw he may throw her way. He is playing a whole bunch of mind tricks with her and she keeps falling for them. I just want to hug her and then shake her and slap some sense into her. I just have to remind myself this show was taped back in 2020. We are just now seeing these episodes. So I hope Paige gained some wisdom since this ordeal.

As soon as I saw his intro I knew this was going to get interesting. Then again hearing him after the wedding. However, the drama far exceeded my expectations. The level of disrespect Chris had for Paige was unlike anything I've ever seen. I felt horrible for her. But seeing her forgive him for everything because "God has a plan" was too much. I quickly stopped feeling bad for her and realized they both need help. I hope she makes a come back and she's a new and improved woman for the next show.
If I were the "expert"/matchmaker, here's how I'd test the candidate:. Hire a person to go to their work or some place they frequent. Drop something, see if they help, see if they get the door, that sort of thing.
