The vast, vast, majority of people vote for the party not the MP, hence the saying in, for example, definite liebour seats - put a rosette on a pig and it'd get elected.

I have never voted labour but have been a huge admirer of Ms Duffield since she spoke out in support of JKR and support of women only spaces and it was an interesting interview. As she has had zero support from Cpt flip-flop she is definitely going to be deselected thus should sign up for Reform to stand any chance of retaining her seat. Good luck to her as she seems both a very decent person and a good MP.

Difficult decision for the Canterbury constituency if you don’t want a Tory but you find Rosie is an ineffective MP who is more interested in now socialising with JK Rowling, Julie Bindel and other celebs rather than looking after local interests.

She is not resoundingly popular here, mainly loved by the DFL’s and other Whitstable trendies and i think that the core of voters who were the main reason for change, namely students, are not in alignment with some of her views, particularly on trans issues.
