Helpfull thank you. Will use this when inheriting dirty timecode shows haha.
I have found great success just building everything by recipes and store overwriting groups they reference. Recipes are amazing, best feature by far!

    Nice!
An other question on touring functionality: Is there a way you can import the house operators position presets (or any other presettype) and use them in your showfile?

Yes this is possible. You can use the Import / Export menu to export the presets from the house operator and import it to your showfile. In the online manual you can find a helpful description on how that works: help2.malighting.com/Page/grandMA3/import_export/en/1.9/import
But of course if you have any questions, your local MA support will be happy to help!

This is very Nice and the Way i’ve been doing it the whole summer! One question though: is this clone the same as if we do it by coomandline? So clone Fixture x at y works the same Way?
When coming to a festival that provides an MVR you wont be doing this type of cloning so would be Nice to know is theres a difference or not?

Yes, technically it is absolutely the same. So copy and paste in the patch will just do a complete clone of the show data automatically. When you clone via command you have to specify what you want to clone. To clone the whole show data you could say Clone Fixture x at y if Datapool z. Next to this you have some more possibilities with the command, e.g. to specify presets or sequences or to clone between different attributes. You will find some more information here: help2.malighting.com/Page/grandMA3/keyword_clone/en/1.9/clone

@@MALightingInt thanks, cleares it up alot!
Must say though It would be really Nice to have a in patch clone function so when reciving a MVR i would have a Way of cloning without having to leave the patch!
So basicly a clone info from (selectect the range of lights) paste onto pre excisting lights in patch!
