Old video but I’m doing this now. How do I know how tight to turn the locking nut over the bearing?

How did you get the purple grease on those bearings?

I just put it on with my finger.

Does that idler adjust or just tight it down? Eccentric?

It does adjust. The belt actually has to be quite tight.

Use a pick tool to line the holes up first .

When you remove the cover is there fluid in there? I’m about to remove boot & cover just to see if belt is broken before I go any further. Thanks
