    Good rail is rounded on the top, it reduces friction and allows the wheel sets to follow the rails. around cornors. Do a little research on 'rail and wheel' dynamics, it migh help you out. Nice rig. Your wheels are pretty narrow, so locking the 'stearing' is essential, otherwise the 'wheel set' will be forever derailing, because it can't maintain the gage.

    Hey Ken. My steering is out also, but I have been assuming that the problem is with the electronic circuit board. How did you decide it was a broken belt? Did you just tear into it and discover it? If not, I was wondering how you knew it wasn't an electrical problem. As far as I have been able to ascertain, nobody sells just the circuit board . Ford really raped us with this one and they should have been recalled.

    • @akghound
      @akghound Год назад

      I searched RUclips about the problem. Then went to a couple of repair shops, they both said it was the powersteering unit. When I got quotes on cost I figured I'd do more RUclips research where I stumbled upon a very short video about the belt. Keep in mind you do not need to remove the unit to replace the belt.
