As SO MANY have proclaimed, if God has clothed an angel in flesh and blood and sent her to live among us, then SURELY Sissel qualifies. Such an unearthly, angelic voice and personage - such beauty, grace, charm and charisma are not to be found in many here among us !! Each time that I see and hear her perform this aria, my heart aches within me over the tenderness and emotion that comes forth from her voice -- and the overwhelming beauty of her, her voice and her rendition. Truly, she puts ALL of herself into her singing and becomes the song !!
