    Lovely to retrace our old route up out of London. Many times we've done that. Happy memories. Nice to see the towpaths, locks etc look OK

      @TheCorfieldR Thanks - it was generally very well maintained but extremely quiet, hardly any boats moving..most people seem to just live on them in situ, which is going to cause the CRT problems in the future..

    Thanks for sharing your journey. I recognised much of it as I’ve worked in and around Paddington and live on the Grand Union with a home mooring near Berko. I’m looking forward to cruising from Paddington Basin myself one day soon.

      @binarysteve8219 Thanks. We enjoyed the whole journey far more than I anticipated - it's a varied journey, and I'm already looking forward to doing it again...probably in 2027!
