Bliss ~ listen to the birds, just a great time of year to be cruising.
Well done for the courage to shoot in a time that only a few people shoot in. And don't be afraid to close the aperture for half of what the automatic measured.

I don't comment enough on your videos - Just want you both to know.. doesn't mean I don't watch them all.. Your adventures having spent time with you both.. make the vids that little more special - and this was a cracker, felt I was on Bertie with that music and footage.. xxx
I used to work in offices in Dod street that backed onto Limehouse cut. Wasn’t into boats then lol

Did you lose the Chimney?
@GaryCSchade For once we didn't, as it precariously hung on until we could safely stop and retrieve it. But we've lost 2 chimneys and 3 flues so far, so it's a bit of an occupational hazard..
Just lovely. I never dreamed I'd be travelling (virtually) by narrowboat all over Great Britain, the boat being driven by someone i'd met in French Polynesia.

Such a shame you didn't label the location of 'all' the scenes - Was that Wallingford where everyone was swimming having a dang good time?? .... It looked like it - We used to swim there back in the 60's (If it was :-) .... Are you tracking down through Henley next?? ... Be sure to take in Wargrave ... Most RUclipsrs don't for some strange reason 🤔

Boats were not allowed to move? That is just not true Strong Stream Advice is not a ban on moving boats. It is merely advice. The skipper of each boat makes the decision whether to move or not.
@Ian Simons When SSA is in place on the Nene some locks are reversed, and I believe, padlocked, so I'm not sure how you would do these?

We also loved the Little Ouse. Moored there for a couple of years before moving to Bill Fen. Glad you liked it. Did you go down the Wissey? That was even better.
I'm on it now, and I like the rough moorings on the Wissey, but the LO is very special.
