@@KitGuruTech what about PCI-E bend lol,
So actually we do need card holder? to avoid pci bend?
@@sebash6 I didn't notice any sag with this model, but it's a big and heavy card so a support certainly wouldn't hurt
They are a long way above MSRP here in Australia
Asus tuf 3080 oc vs. Asus rog 3080 strix oc?
But the people on the reddits keep telling me two 8 pin cards are sub-par garbage
The tiremark on the backplate looks uh... Well...
How come you didn't catch any crashes on any of your 3080 review?
It's just not something that affected me during any of my review testing. we test 11 games tested at three resolutions, three runs per resolution - and no crashes, plus a 30-minute stress test.
@@KitGuruTech I see. Thanks. It would be really helpful if your team could spot things like this. However still appreciate all your reviews.
@@iamMrBChen trouble is, we still don't really know the root cause of the instability. Nvidia's driver last night seemed to fix the issue for a lot of people, if so it'd be hard to blame the board partners and their respective cards. Even then, if my review sample did cause crashes, that wouldn't necessarily mean that if you bought one, you would get crashes too
MrBrandon7810 how can they spot things they don’t experience ? From what I see not everyone is having it !
@@theonlyredspecial if you read his reply, they don't do gaming for longer time. Gamers experience the crashes whenever reaches over 2ghz.
rx570 rogstrix bois where u at?
I'm buying this over strix due to less rgb
But RGB adds speed :)
What do you like better - ASUS TUF or MSI Gaming X?
you will not get any AIB 30 series cards for MSRP, price will only go up
Sorry, my personal opinion but nvidia founders edition has all these aib cards beat on asthetics. The aib cards are lacking and wow factor. Anyone else agree?
definitely agree. but i can't imagine Nvidia has made too many Founders, that's almost certainly a loss-leader for them at MSRP. the vast majority of buyers will be going AIB
The AIB cards sure look a bit uninspired, some look even rushed out the door.
I love RGB but not one of them has RGB that i think would look awesome in my build...
I have not completely ruled out the EVGA XC3, the Asus Strix and MSI cards (they are the least offensive looking at least), but nothing jumps out at me as perfect for MY build, nothing jumps out nearly as innovative as the Founders Edition, at least Nvidia tries something new (but really, would a bit of RGB hurt? i just want to set it to BLUE! ...white ain't my style. ...nobody told me if i can turn the white LED OFF???).
I'm still very undecided.
All these reviewers giving this card a good review will just push the price even higher when back in stock.
Honest reviews. Good cards.
gamers lives matter nvidia 3080 , 3090
Manual overclock FFS the strix can reach 400 watts is it fucking worth it if your into MANUAL OVERCLOCKING! cant find any info about this like its not even important
Why “strix in disguise” ?
The strix rtx3080 has 3 x 8 pins. I trust it more than all the other card with only 2 x 8 pins
No stock and £50 above MSRP for pre-orders. Total joke nvidia. Will get PS5 instead!
thumb down for a make up...
this review should have been left to leo as he is alot more versed on this sort of topic...no offence....leo is much better at this sort of review...

Please stop talking about any RTX cards that are not available to the public. You are part of the problem at this time. Wake up and become part of the solution. Quit giving Nvidia a pass, and cut off the information until the cards are available. You are harming the GPU economy. You are part of the problem.
Well Nvidia made people go and wait for big Navi because of their manufactured scarcity.
Samsung has great yeilds and there are no issues. They are just trying to artificially raise the prices while being able to say " oh look it's so cheap!)
Asus paying everyone hard for these tuf gaming reviews. Not even a strix card and y'all are creaming your panties.
The powerful cards aren't even out.
tuf have beaten strix in terms of cooling and sound. their axial fan reduced the noise the additional heatsink on the board vrams brought tuf to the top spot leaving strix in the dust.
