I don’t think you guys understand what these clothing are trying to appeal to? Most of these are ready to wear fashion and more than likely sell faster than trendy outfit. mind you only rich people can afford it. So let’s not get too worked up on why you guys don’t like the clothing because let’s face we can’t afford it anyway!
Denim was so bad.......looked like one could do this at home..........Much of the collection was very ordinary and the only "flair" the collection had was the more blouson items ...the rest definitely not worth any where near the price of these garments.

I don't even like to see them at TJMaxx but Givenchy?! It just goes to show, the "style terrorists" can take over even the most uppity scale of fashion houses. Those jeans look sooo contrived, so ridiculous, like somebody spilled battery acid on them! And to think grown women actually wear them!
The fashion cabal is laughing all the way to the bank...or are they? They may be stuck with alot of ripped jeans they'll have to donate to the Humane Society to use for dog bedding. The only possible use for them!

Okay...i think that new fashion brands are more creative than the basic ones. It's time for a rest for these overrated brands and focus on the new talents
I think the only notable one is Gucci. Love gucci. They are completely different than these others ones. I keep seeing the same bullshit from every major designer. Except Chanel. Chanel kind of does it’s own thing and incorporates their older styles into modern styles, but that gets old quickly.

Yes, this is not Givenchy material, grossly underwhelming. I like most of it, but could get most of it at a charity shop, and advise that we all do exactly that.

Lily Lunsford...i couldn't agree more. Two seconds of full length view then immediate pan in, for two more seconds, to upper half. I guess the only good thing about that was that was about all the time they deserved! And the faces on those models (can't tell what they are, so no personal pronouns will be used) those faces are so surly and so pouty, they look like mad children stomping off to their room for a "time out"!

Getting so disallusioned with the fashion scene - where is the next John Galliano or Alexander McQueen or Marc Jacobs? Every brand is turning out the same tired old clothes, it's becoming a waste of time watching these tbh.

Interesting distressed/up-cycled denim pieces, but I expect much more from Haute Couture and certainly Givenchy. This fashion house is synonymously linked with Audrey Hepburn for heaven's sake.
This wasn't an Haute Couture show though it was Ready to Wear. If you want mind blowing elegance, watch what Clare can do in her Haute Couture shows. Clare gives us exactly what Givenchy is known for.
I loved it. Everything is here. But in a cohesive and relevant way. Ordinary clothes as denim, basic trench etc (i regret the ripped jeans but ok..) not that luxury and other structured, appliqué tops, silk tuxedo-like deess appliqué dresses. Great show. And it was rare in Paris this year..

who else misses when the whole cast in every fashion show where the same famous models, when models where a very important part of the show, right now you'll see cheap models, which is not fun at all, and knowing the fact that they used to pay more to supermodels as they do now, it's crazy
Supermodels of the past were huge divas, demanded large sums of money even for the simplest things and bragged about how they were the most important thing to brands and fashion so could ask for whatever they wanted.
Designers got sick of it so decided to kill their power and put the brand above all by enlisting everyday girls who could never have that kind of charisma and focused their marketing efforts on the brand and tie ins with popular things and people.
Supermodels of the past ruined things by being super divas. Supermodels were endangered in the 2000s and now are extinct as the last few big names stopped doing shows during the 2010s. The 2020s will be the first time in decades that there aren't any supermodels.
Brands are in the business of selling clothes, not models. That’s the whole point, the attention and emphasis is on the garments, celebrity models are just a distraction. Let the famous models do their own thing, they have their own brands now. And I for one don’t miss them one bit, love all the fresh new diverse and relatable models walking now. Don’t you get sick of seeing the same old faces over and over again?

@@semerahpadi4484 The fashion and beauty industry is now expanding definitions of beauty and including broader aesthetics to be more representative of all the world's inhabitants. Beauty standards of the past are no longer exclusive and strictly defined, if you hadn't noticed. It's clear older generations are having a hard time getting used to that unfortunately.

I liked quite a bit of the collection. It's not for everybody. At least some of the pieces aren't. But overall wearable to me.😍😎
I feel like this was a bunch of late 80s early 90s recycling. This was definitely a disappointment. I think I could actually design better clothes than some of these. The flowered blouse with the lavender and green was the one stand out that made me exclaim when the model came out and there was a dress in the same print that was effortless and beautiful. However, when that brown oversized monk's robe came out, I gave up all hope of things getting better. Yikes!!

Dreadful clothes... almost as bad as Lanvin this season... Thank God we still have YSL, Ralph Lauren, & Dolce & Gabbana...
That denim and leg-of-mutton sleeve look....no. But, it did start of fresh, optimistic and full of energy. Loved, that mint green cocktail dress and the sleek coat dresses with sculpted hips. Some of the prints were a little lack lustre, but I think CWK is definitely putting a memorable spin on the GIVENCHY codes.

Too many collections being pumped out of fashion houses, not enough creative juices flowing the artistry is lost. I find myself leaning more and more towards couture to give me that “fashiongasm” the goosebumps effect which is so missing since the days of MCQueen and Galliano

Nah... She should have Slain, coming after men to a womenswear line like Givenchy but she went the commercial route for her runway show ugh... waste of money... the clothes were great thou, however, this show was way too commercial for Givenchy Runway Ny or where

Givenchy did not hit this far. Spring Summer? Boring flat colours, little to no shape. No elegance, no inspiration or wow factor. The models look like a bunch of angst ridden high schoolers who could care less, with hair styles to match. Quicker they forget this and move on the better.
What an cold ambiance. It must felt very tense in the audience even I could feel it via my iPhone screen. And those clothing 🤦🏻♀️ fail! Those models where not feminine at all. What epic fail!
Not feeling it. Something about this collection…..those “fans” on top of shirts looks uncomfortable. And those huge flowing dresses do nothing could be used as winter pajamas in the tundra.
