We made these videos to improve my English speaking skills because I need to speak more often to get better. In China, there aren’t many places to practice speaking English, so we have to create our own opportunities. At the same time, watching and analyzing games from top players is also a great way to improve at chess. Thanks for your interest in how people in China use YT. There have always been a lot of Chinese RUclipsrs who’ve found ways to use YT without interruption. If you’re interested, you can easily find them by searching on YT. As for whether they can earn money from it, we’re not sure since we’re just getting started. My main goal is to improve my English speaking skills and my chess level, and that’s why I use YT. 😊❤
Honest questions: 1. Isn't RUclips banned behind the firewall in China? Do you use VPN to access it? Are there any repercussions for doing that? 2. How do you speak English so well given the fact that most people in China speak primarily Mandarin? 3. Why didn't China sent their top female players for the Olympiad? They would have been the favorites to win gold.
1. Yes. Thank you for your attention to this aspect. 2. She passed the Cambridge CAE English exam in elementary school. She also speaks Spanish. She may have a natural talent for languages, or I provided her with a suitable learning method. 3. This has already been mentioned by China’s Chess Association on their media platform. (form her father😁)
