Till I haven't seen Rourkela but I have watched few videos of there...And I know that Rourkela also is a smart city Here I wanted to say that the giving of importance to a city or town which you could see only in Bhubaneswar in our Odisha

Frequent power fluctuations, regular breakdowns of power. This city is state capital. We should not have this problem at all. 2. Poor sanitation, no dust bins. People throw garbage every where, like any third world countries. 4. Use of plastic. Here every where using cheap quality plastics, which all governments banned. This is very dangerous. Government should look into it. 5. No proper roads, interior area of B B S is very bad. I am sure many roads are laid about 10+ years back. If these things addressed, yes , Bhubaneswar city also became smart city.

Waisa hota to sayed surat, jaipur, lucknow, kanpur bhi tier 1 city me aajate. And yes Pune n Ahmedabad is still in tier 2 cities list. Only Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad are in tier 1 list. We wish Bhubaneswar should have one best cricket stadium, some unique infrastructure, bigger non polluting industrial areas around the city, more greenery, metro rail system. Best of luck Bhubaneswar. I love my Bhubaneswar.
