硬朗的搖滾元素！
杭蓋樂隊2017全新專輯主打歌曲《嘎達梅林》的MV於今日首發！這首贊頌英雄的悠揚曲調經過杭蓋的全新改編，增添進硬朗的搖滾元素，更顯磅礡蒼涼。
此外，杭蓋在可可西裡無人區拍攝的《嘎達梅林》MV以真實的無人區畫面輔以杭蓋震撼的音樂，如此視聽效果勢必給觀眾帶來無與倫比的現場感受。
《嘎達梅林》這首歌是一首很經典的蒙古族英雄歌曲，歌曲MV的大部分鏡頭是在青海的可可西裡、昆侖山拍攝的，共拍攝了三天，白天溫差比較大，條件十分艱苦。“在拍攝期間，我們的團隊工作人員也非常辛苦，要面臨嚴重的高原反應。所以期待大家能早日看到這個MV，因為它非常值得一看。”
杭蓋樂隊表示：“在這種極端自然環境下，其實還有些牧民在那裡生活，他們一直都在跟自然抗爭，所以你從這裡就能感受到自然的壯麗偉大，和在這種環境下生命的渺小，但即使渺小人類也在認真地生存，這些生命的意義你能體會地特別深刻。”
雖然城市發展迅速，但實際上環境對我們更重要，杭蓋樂隊希望通過這張專輯呼吁更多的人們保護環境，保護自然的原來的特色。另外，12月10日杭蓋北京M空間首發演唱會，即將開始，敬請期待！

It's a great form of promotion for HU to record songs for popular brands. The song for Star Wars doesn't even differ from their usual style and can bring more people to their mongolian songs. Also it's kinda of a tradition for mongolians to mix their own music with music from other cultures.

I love the voice of that guy on that two string violin (no clue how it's called in English), he's got this deep throat voice and sounds fantastic. Check their other songs. I just bought their Horse in Colours album.

The two string violin is called horse head fiddle or morin khuur in mongolian. It's played by Batubagen. :)

Recorded in Nashville TN! But beyond that, sometimes Hanggai's visuals overwhelm the music, which says a lot because the music so affectively balances tempo, density, and a type of anthemic musicality. Can't wait to see them live!

this is pretty much considered the de facto national anthem of Inner (Southern) Mongolia. it is about a Mongol official who started an army and fought against the Chinese warlord who wanted to occupy and farm the Khorchin grassland. his army was eventually defeated and he died in battle. his head was taken to the Chinese warlord.

Its a rebel song, praising a rebel leader in the 20s, for his self-sacrificing to preserve the life style and environment of the steppe.

Wendy Schkade Gadameilin's struggle against reclamation is a feat of great influence in the modern history of Inner Mongolia, which expresses the steppe people's strong will to fight against oppression and survive. Although the uprising of Gadameilin failed in a short time, the grassland people regarded him as a hero protecting the grassland. In the second year after his death, the song 嘎达梅林 was written and is still sung: "goose flying from the south, never take off until it lands on the xar river. To say that the uprising of Gadameilin is for the land of the Mongolian people..."
This is a ancient folk music of Mongolian, which was found by a chinese musician and arranged. I was so moved.

嘎達梅林（1892-1931）：現代蒙古族起事領袖。1916年開始北洋政府開始推動對蒙古草原的屯墾政策，大批漢民北進圈地，導致牧草場面積大減，牧民無以為繼，顛沛流離。1929年嘎達梅林向少帥張學良請願停止圈地，反被捕入獄。幸得其妻牡丹其其格率人救出。於是嘎達梅林率眾起事，驅逐測量局的人員。然而張學良與本地蒙古王公合謀，在1931年剿滅其軍隊，嘎達梅林被殺，死後遭梟首示眾。過後不久918事件爆發，屯墾政策就此中斷。
然而日後對蒙古草原的屯墾政策卻沒有因此消滅。出於對環境保護的漠視以及自然生態的幼稚認識，50年代開始政府仍獎勵牧民定點畜牧、發展農業，文革時期尤甚。至今科爾沁大草原竟成一片沙漠。有關當局近年努力退耕還草，發展綠化，而頗有成就。

I like this song but, the video is made in a style where you all look like western hip hop buddys. The feeling for me is you have to look more like a western folk metal band but in asian traditions! I think you are like the eastern middle age bands like "schandmaul" or like "in extremo" seen from a german point of view. Just my opinion. I also like punjab Metal like "Bloodywood" don't give up doing such good songs, you all extened my horizion!
