Lidia Tsekova was my biology teacher until 7th grade. She was one of the nicest teachers and we were all shocked when her name suddenly appeared in the news. For weeks we had no idea what had happened.
Biology was one of my least favourite subjects and I wasn't performing very well, but she always used to give me a second chance. I still remember how sad I felt when I walked into the classroom the first time after her death.
Rest in peace.
That's very sad. I'm sorry that happened
How did she even die?

“I wish this man was my teacher,” says somebody. Sir, what do you think he’s been doing all this time?💁♂️🤦♂️🧏♂️😂.
Than you'd get alot of facts wrong as well. Many times this channel does a sloppy job. Only reason some viewers don't know it is cause they have no prior knowledge of the subject matter being butchered. It's good to hear this out, but always cross reference the information and double check. This guy's not as dependable as you would like to believe. Yet he's still better than the garbage education in most public schools.

Actually, there is a difference between "former eastern block" and "eastern europe", mainly that southern slavs fall under the category southern europe (like croatia) and western slavic countries (like czechia) fall under central europe
@@slavicandroid1999 just gonna point this out that many people use comment sections to advertise stuff, just be careful to not give them what they want.
Normally I'd agree, and you are right, but nobody actually talks about geography when they say "eastern europe" to the westerners we are all the same and we're looked at the same when going west, xenophobia is alive and well in Europe

I've heard a similar story of Germans being stuck in their position and having to watch multiple people dying on a minefield. They made a ceasefire and helped with the retrieval of the dead and wounded. Or in other words the opposite of their job...
Another funny example was a British pilot getting lost in poor visibility and joining an enemy plane formation by accident. The pilot next to him pointed him the right direction and none of them attacked him.
Probably not

Ehh, the one about the girl putting dry ice in the pool during her 29th birthday party is told in this video a little bit differently than I remember it.

Do you have any more information about the hand grenade selfie death? Just wondering how that grenade works, because the ones I used in the service it was fine to pull the pin so long as you held the spoon to the grenade, if you let that fly off then it would blow up. Just wondering how he would have time to take and post a picture in the few seconds it takes to go off. More details would be nice.
Russian grenades of various types don't work like most Nato pattern grenades. Russian grenades work in two ways. The first is the plunger needing to be pushed in. This is similar to the old Japanese grenades where you had to smack the plunger, hitting a firing pin which started the chemical fuse, the second type has the the chemical fuse start by pulling the pin itself with a striker dropping down and starting the fuse. On these, there is no means of putting the pin back in. The Russians do have a few spoon type grenades like what most countries use today, but the picture and the selfi story it's related too didn't use such a modern Russian grenade, instead it was a dropped early cold war Era grenade the man found.
@@theduke7539 thanks for the info, I didn't know anything about their fuse systems. Still, how did he manage to take a picture and post one?
The grenade that he had was a soviet F1 hand grenade. It does work like a more traditional hand grenade with a spoon and striker.

My man is croatian. He left for the US when he was 19, right after he finished his mandatory military enlistment. The stories he's told me of his youth are equal parts hilarious, harrowing, and heartbreaking.

Abut the 7 deaths in the septic tank - the first guy was the grandfather of the family. There was some blockage and he climbed into it to fix it. Looks like he didn't realize that breathing the fumes makes you loose consciousness. 3 of the other victims were his family (2 sons). 5 children were left with one of the parents remaining (the last woman that survived the tank).
GeoCaching is where you can find trinkets known as "Geocaches" but not in a storm is the Czech Republic (now Czechia)
Brother, Poland is in Central Europe
Nice videos
I refuse to believe that he actually forgot to unplug the cord that man was murdered.
Rest In Peace for all those who died
the last one, "Blew my mind" - I'm not an expert, but I also assumed that Even if you removed the Grenade Pin, as long as you dont release some sort of trigger, the grenade wouldn't detonate...
then again, I wouldnt want to try it out regardless, for the sake of a selfie... C'mon now... :(
Because IT WILL NOT. Pin holds the spoon, spoon triggers the fuse. You pull the pin out, spoon will unlatch itself, usually when you throw it (spoon is no longer gripped with the body by hand, unlatches, fuse is lit - that cannot be reversed).
When you hold the grenade, you can actually pull the pin out and then reinsert it as long as you have not let go of the spoon.
There are a lot of grenade types but the one on the picture, soviet F-1 works that way.
I've a friend who, in the late 1980s, while working on his doctorate, took a pound of sodium and potassium and threw it in the local river to see what would happen. From my understanding, there was about 30 seconds of nothing followed by a geyser about 30 feet tall. Needless to say, he ran away quick.
Some of these are just done right funny

From Slovakia. We are Central Europe. Not Eastern.
It doesn't matter you're the West and that's all that counts
1:50 how does that even make sense, contrary to video games IRL electricity isn't some AoE effect that just shocks everything in range, the wide would look for the closest path to ground, it should just go vertically to the bottom of the water... maybe if there happened to be a fish in the way I'm not sure if the fish body would be more conductive then the water, so I feel it mighgt just go around the fish.
Gg for the ones who died the dumbest ways

While Karczówka was mentioned, I am surprised one particular Polish death was not. Krzysztof Ażniński, a farmer, who during drinking with his friends, decided to show off who is the manliest man of them all. And he won... by decapitating himself with a Chainsaw.
Thus, he became the only citizen of Poland who won a Darwin Award. Which is somewhat weird that only he has that award since then.
