Hey Ryan, the Pratica dimensions of 15 inch depth are larger than that E65S? Seemingly out of place on any kitchen countertop. Also, the burrs are hardened steel and not special steel like the E65S. It is also, slower. Not a very big deal but there is a significant difference. Please comment on the dimensions as I can deal with the slower speed.

The Pratica and E65S share the same motor and burrs, and therefore perform identically. The depth of the pratica is a few inches deeper than the E65S.

Thanks, I am buying one. Saving $1,000 is nice. Also, the short hopper should make it more compact to fit under cabinet. Now to figure out that extra depth.

Hey considering this machine, notice you said that this is not hands free, but I’ve seen other reviews mention it is hands free. Can you clarify that for me?
