If all of our vets held some form of office, this country would be a better place by a longshot. Practicality doesn't get you votes, platitudes do. So glad this man made it happen. We need more people like him.
Not all vets are good people. Being in the military doesn't automatically make you a good person. It's a hard pill for many to swallow.
If you're a big brother to a kid who becomes a seal you know you must have done something right.

"Who submits to the cause greater than themselves"....the team. Best statement ever made concerning the Seal teams. I honestly think that's what it takes to be a veteran from any MOS or job in the military. But in the SEAL Teams it is absolutely Paramount. 6 yr navy veteran here

Summer 2007 was heating up especially in the Ramadi region, lots of special operators in the Tikrit/Ramadi region.

What made me want to be Navy SEAL one day was from watching that buds class video in 2014 maybe. Ever since then I couldn't stop thinking about it. I still would want to try to be one today but with all this stuff I've done wrong lately, it'll just make it even harder I think. Well like I would have to clear all that first then join. Instead of just joining right away. That's what made me go back to get my diploma in the first place was so I could join.

I like that guy even though he talks really fast . Imagine that a fast talking politician, I guess what I like about him is he is a solid guy who is well read and real smart, the problem is with the seals is thier stories are classified so you are not able to reveal the truth about how he got the medal of honor. So sticking to the story is a nonfactor. I wish him well and have hopes he stays the course and does not get bored with the inability of congress to make things happen. Thank you for your service

So in Ramadi, when he describes the house, the shark house was actually a four-story miniature hotel, where you had a really good view of multiple different streets and alleyways so it was really good for a sniper hideout

Bruh, I have been in for 16 years, 4 months in the regular Navy. I can't remember anyone in boot camp but my lead RDC, and my boot camp number, but I can tell you everything else. It is a boring story but probably more exciting than most. I have pictures too. I can't wait to retire. 1 more duty station after this one.

Yes My British grandfather was PT instructor in RAF opa and Oma brother in German forces. Side stroke is hard.wish Id tried for navy seals at 17 it uses mind too.i hate the emphasis on single mother etc not all children with lone parents are in trouble usually bullies do it my son was top of his class steady as rock. Until ss got involved I hate forced adoption..... How much swimming was involved in Afghanistan and Iraq more mountaineering and fell walking.?
