I love that this movie was shot in the very area I grew up...I was raised on a soybean and rice farm near Stuttgart,Ar..Went to school in DeWitt, AR. And spent my summers on our houseboat on the same river MUD was filmed..Lots of good childhood memories on that river .Water skiing, fishing. And lots of parties on the sand bars ..
