One of the reasons why it all works for me is because there is no useless unfitting music, and if there is a song you know its cause they walked in a bar and its on the radio, the rest of the music is there to build tension and not annoy you like these other movies.
I just watched The Big Short for the first time, and there's actually a part where Ryan Gosling is narrating and it starts blasting Sweet Child of Mine, lyrics included, at equal volume so you can't hear him anymore. Whose idea was it to drown out pertinent dialog with music that doesn't even fit the time period (2006-2008)? The editing and sound design were already obnoxious, but that part took it to a new level.
congrats for this one, the sound design in this movie was simply amazing! this combined with a splendid coop with the actors preformances, not even to mention the subject of the movie.
She asked what it was like having the gang from "No Country for Old Men" back together again. Because all Hispanic people... smh... these damn journalists do this WAAAAY too often.
I can not believe I just barely watched both of the Sicario films but I’m glad I finally did. They’re so Good I’m hooked. I really hope they make a 3rd, because I know it will be just as Good as the 1st 2 with these creators working together again. Other than the composer but his score is already down so he’ll still be part of it again as well. I love that hardcore , intense score he used for this. So cold. Perfect.
Part 1 was way better and I think it’s because Dani didn’t direct part 2. I hope he does part 3, I heard some rumors that Dani may do 3. Fingers crossed, he’s my fav director.
I’d like to have seen this sooner so that I could show the director more love , all the creators here more love that they deserve for this film. So Good. I saw them reversed as well, I saw “ The Day of the Soldado “ 1st and then it led me to this original Sicario film. So Good. So Good. Both of them are the best.
