@Nathan Truby the way the game calculates falling through the ground is like it didn't happen, so you take fall damage like you would of if that hadn't happened.

A bit of culmination of what has been said in the comment section, kAN; reverse the setup of your trike and have the trips in the front and have them rotate in place, or relatively in place, for steering and have the thing tilt into the turn as well. If you tried rear wheel steering, you'd just die, but if you have the drive and steering in the same set of wheels, you'd be pretty good. For Kosmo, maybe just have a 3rd bearing internally with a decent amount of weight attached to it and when he turns one direction, have the bearing turn the same direction so then there's a weight shift onto that side? I just seems like having a vehicle with balanced weight means nothing in Scrap Mechanic and that it comes down to either counter force or counter weighing the entire thing. I'd love to see some auto defense turrets built and tested. You have the stuff for mounted spudguns and ammo boxes and the know how to make an auto-scanning, sensor activated system. I'd actually like to see as small of a build as you can make and then make it quasi portable (you can weld it onto a block and then delete it to place it in a new area) and have you guys take like 10 back to that FarmBot forest and just watch them get liquified. Just build a line of them set a little higher than the mechanics and with overlapping scanning fields and lure them into the "Admiral Ackbar Special".
We should make "Paint your bearings" into an idiom. I'm not sure what it would mean, probably something like "Doing something unnecessary". Or maybe it could be a good thing, like doing something thoroughly and not taking any shortcuts, "He's a good businessman, always paints his bearings.".
sometimes when I make a vehicle I find it handles way better in reverse that going forward. especially with something like that 'trike', would probably handle a lot better with the two 3wheels at the front. I'm getting into suspension glitches to keep stuff stable but before that I'd just use make or steal pipes from the FRESH signs and make little skis stuck out either side of my 2 wheeler bikes to keep them stable. works surprisingly well!
When you're hunted by farmbots just get into the ocean, since you can swim faster than they can walk on the bottom. After eluding sucessfully just make a big bow around them to get back ;)

A real trike has two wheels in the front and one in the back. With two front wheels, it drives SOOOOO much better! Especially hitting small bumps at high speeds, and especially steering at high speeds. Just give it a try, and you'll never go back! And maybe add a Metal3 rim around the bed, to keep it safer.

Just imagine, that the second dropship was cleared by its owner who crashed there. You have no idea how long before or after you it crashed there. It might be years gone, as the fires never stop burning. So the pilot might have totally stripped it to survive, just as you did. Perhaps he is still somewhere or he died by age or was killed by one of the bots.
@@bnw5435 Interesting thought. Perhaps that ship was a cargo transport and he tried to escape when the bots went crazy, but one bot got aboard or onto the ship and damaged it so much, that he couldn't get off the planet and crashed instead of getting away.
Fun fact: I saw the splash from when you fall into water, no matter how shallow the water is, it will negate fall damage, this means that you broke your fall by being just close enough to touch the plane of water.

I have to admit my surprise after googling Avalanche. Based on your description I was imagining something closer to your crate delivery vehicles with a spoiler.
If you have two tires in the front and one in the back, and have steering in the back with stabiliser beams you can drive the Trike way easier. It’s quite a cool concept, I tried it and it works really well.
I am most of the way through my second game and my first game I had a flier. I have never found the second crash ship. I can not remember if I found crash city either. I do agree that the game needs an end mission and I liked your idea you said on another video that the merchant should sell schematics to unlock the ability to craft stuff. I have noticed they have MASSIVELY reduced the chance of Farm Bots spawning. I have found a few at 4 story ware houses mostly... and 2 total spawn points in my first game. I have only found one warehouse with a Farm Bot so far and no other Farm Bot spawn points. Also all the farmer camps but one between two games has only had one farmer in them. My first game had one camp with 3, Also most of my warehouses are 4 stories. That makes clearing them MUCH harder. I actually just maxed out my yellow and purple clothing boxes, but not my green boxes. I can save them up for the final release as they are adding a bunch of outfits.
I'm not gonna argue that this wouldn't fix the flipping problem, but I will propose that that's just another system of bearings (at least 2) that may or may not end up causing the game to throw its brains up. I really hope the devs make some kind of hardy optimization soon concerning bearings and suspensions bogging down the physics. But I'd really like to see him do the simple fix you've suggested and see if that does much on the game. You can never tell when 1 more bearing bug splats you or if you can get away with 20 more bearings and get minor lag. . . .
Tip: you can use 2 or more parallel bearings connected to eachother with one bar for a 2 wide or 2 long steering bar instead of the offset single bearing

did you know the moment you touch the ground from high jump put a lift infront of you, will bounce you off and do 0 damage, but very small timing gap there and it work

Trikes (in real life) are fine, as long as they are 2 front 1 rear.
If you want an interesting trike design, you should try the canam spyder. It's a reverse trike with a rear that leans in the direction of the turn.
