  • The Dali collision with the Francis Scott Key Bridge clean up effort made a significant lift of the debris on Sunday. The salvage group Donjon Marine removed the largest section of the bridge to date with the Chesapeake 1000 crane. The Bridge Collapse Site is presenting incredible challenges, but Baltimore Harbor is expected to be reopened by the end of May.

I work construction. We used cranes with 3 and 400 foot booms. They used 12 or more semi trailers sized concrete counter weights on the back of the winch house. Some of those cranes in the video could have lifted the weights to be put on the biggest crane we used.

I am Completely amazed at watching all the working operations , of the many different Powerful Cranes lifting those Very Heavy sections of The KEY Bridge's Steel girder Skeleton !
My wife and Myself lived in the Glen Burnie and Anne Arundel country Up until 1996 when We were Relocated to North Central NC . WE were heartbroken when We heard and Seen what happened To What We Passionately Thought was At One Time A Truly Modern Marvel of The Engineering World 🌍 ! WE Really enjoy watching Your Videos .
