@@ryant5652 I’m not too sure HOW if I’m being honest. but it says on their site when you go under “payments” or a similar word like that I don’t remember. And there’s a few different names for “tokens” which have a cost per word. And I’m pretty sure you can either load up some tokens on the google account that you signed up for openAI on, or possibly just the card info and it will charge directly from your card(which I would honestly prefer that second option, however it would be nice to have an estimated cost per response, just keep in mind unless you are using the biggest and strongest AI they have. Each response will cost like $1)
Not Working for me either… I truly hoped it would. Looks cool in the video followed step by step: it will not answer to the rename (that I entered) also my ask for phrase: doesn’t respond (as I entered). If you have any tips to correct things, hit me back. Thanks

It doesn't work because Siri had some changes, and it can't run shortcuts like this one anymore. Also, OpenAI has been stingy with stuff lately...
Whenever I input a question as an example “Recipe for Mac and cheese” it shows a pop up with the word “Text” and the options Cancel and Done is there anyway to fix that?
It is awesome that this video was made. I was using ChatGPT just 5 minutes before opening RUclips and seeing this. Using Siri to ask ChatGPT to do something once and then closing siri after is very useful.
What do you mean by closing Siri after?

It doesn' work for me. I tried to reenter the api key multiple times, or to not change the question/shortcut name but it doesn't work.
The shortcut interface was a little different than shown in the video. It would not let me delete the old text and paste the new api key. After playing around a little, it finally let me change the Text field and rename the file, as well as change the prompt. And it works.

What are those “keys” apparently different for every iPhone? I don’t feel comfortable using them without further explantation. Thanks!
Those are api keys for chatgpt (open ai's chatbot). Its to allow queries without logging in basically. However, you should be wary to not share any personal information as they are actively tracking and studying the data for research.
The way adding this feature was presented: No. Just no.
RUclips algorithm sent to this video so I checked it out. Interesting but wrong.
Wrong #1: constructive criticism:
- demonstrate what it can do at the beginning of the video
Wrong #2: No information about how it works. You’re recommending that we go to an unknown (for many of us) website, install a questionable shortcut, give it permissions to access PII, and trust it will provide us with reliable information without even KNOWING how it’s using our data (let alone agreeing with its methods.
Context is critical.
You didn’t even discuss how it works and why we should trust it.
This is either a reflection of half-baked content or nefarious purposes.
No. No. No.
Run away.
(However, if you provided a good look under the hood, my comment would probably be very different.)

Once it comes up take a screen shot. Save it to photos. From there you can select all the text and copy.
This seems to just bring up a text box, for typing text. How did you set this up for 2 way voice chat?
I love it, it’s just so finicky you have to really annunciate what you are trying to launch
Yeah I agree, “heysiri launchpromo“ doesn’t work lol
Followed the directions and although I can access it by pressing on the shortcut and inputting text, I can’t seem to get Siri to launch Pro Mode. She just reverts to her regular output. Any ideas?
iOS is technically launching a shortcut app that launches the AI connection. You need to launch classic Siri first (hey siri or long press power button) THEN tell classic Siri to ‘launch Siri pro’. Keep in mind that you need to say whatever title you gave the shortcut. If you named it big brain mode, say ‘big brain mode’.
Hope this helped
@@dude-e , thanks. I did do that. All Siri says is, “I’m already here.” Then when I ask her to do whatever, like the Mac and cheese recipe, she just does what classic Siri does. So for some reason it didn’t work for me.

😂This is not “pro Siri” or whatever has been called in the video. The AI that is behind all of this, which generates responses to your requests, is called ChatGPT and you can access it on web too. ChatGPT is a sub project of OpenAI. It is a part of much larger and powerful GPT model, but also requires a hell lot of computing power to execute. ChatGPT can generate human like responses unlike Siri which simply works by matching your request to one of the preregistered set of tasks in the system. It is so intelligent it can actually write basic webpages as per your requirement, or tell you stories or write letters all by itself and not by copying other prewritten articles on the internet. 😂I am a big fan of this project because it seems so futuristic. Mind boggling how much progress we have made in ai in such a short span of time.
