I just entered thailand yesterday ie 8th May,2024 and asked the immigration officer if they have extended the visa waiver program from 10th may 2024 to november,2024, the officer said NO😌😌😌

How many times can you travel to Thailand under visa waiver scheme? Is there a limit on the number of times an Indian can travel to Thailand under this scheme?
by air there is no limit but again it is better to keep some gap then travel. By land there is a restriction of 2 entries only.

you can reenter only twice if you enter by land but by air there is no cooling off period.

they cover most of medical problems as far I know including covid

nothing as such under visa-exemption scheme. No form filling or photo is required. Only your passport is stamped

Which documents should we carry as a back up? Just in case they randomly check us for documents.
I would say you can carry hard copies of all your documents. Flights, hotels, proof of funds, carry in THB 10K if possible, else you can keep your cash in forex cards etc. Traveling to Thailand after pandemic is simple so I dont think that there is a need to keep any back up documents.

as per the requirements, proof of accommodation or hotel reservations are required. But, it totally depends upon then whether they want to check or not. They randomly check but in most of the cases the immigration is smooth and no questions are asked.

Brother I am traveling to Bangkok next month 3 June to 18 June and my friend has air bnb in Bangkok buts book in his name , so my question is that as my traveling days become 16 day so should I need extended visa and should I need air bnb booking in my name too
simply reserve hotels under your name without payment Or ask your friend to share the hotel voucher with you. He should also have the option to add additional members in the booking but I am not sure if the airbnb has that option. So far you get 30 days under visa exemption so if you travel for 16 days no issues in that

it is a mandatory step but they may not check or ask for it at the time of immigration.

there are couple of then but are very expensive, so you can also carry one from India else you can also sign up for a free medical coverage. The paid ones are Axa Thailand, FWD life insurance and there are a few more but these 2 ones are really good.

There is no cap if you travel by air but they may put questions if someone is repeatedly traveling, However if you enter by land the entry is limited to 2 entries per calendar year

it depends upon them if they want to extend or not but mostly they will again because that is peak season and they grant visa exemption starting Nov 2023. High probability of getting the scheme extended.

Sir I am planning to go for one month to Thailand, for first one week I have booked the hotel in Bangkok, but I am not sure after one week I will go to Phuket or Pattaya .. So just one week's hotel booking is enough?
I am going to do so ccoz I would be going in bike so can't plan. Will convince immigration officer
book free cancellation hotel from Agoda or Booking . Once you reach there , you can amend plans accordingly
