hey I travelled in June end so August will be same only (monsoon month). The weather would not be a big issue as mostly you will be out in the evening only for markets, nightlife, food. (afternoon you can visit temples or shopping or chill at a cafe) But the only problem will be monsoon on the south side (phuket phi phi island ek baar dekh lena kya scene hai, Tour available hai ya nhi. Don't plan to stay at Phi Phi as you can get stuck there if it rains heavily - these things are from my research of monsoon, you do yours too.) Lastly, koh samui side utna. rain nhi hota hai so you can definitely add that. And I don't think any month is bad for travelling to Thailand, just that you have to pick the right things to match your interest and weather. I hope this helps 😊. What is the logic of carrying USD instead of Thai Baht directly? You will be paying double conversion which does not make any sense! I see a lot of people blindly following this and even recommending it to other without actually doing the calculation..!
if you did not listen carefully, let me say it again - I mentioned to get your cash converted into thai baht from India only. Or withdraw it from Thailand depending on the card you have. I had USD for emergency purpose which came handy incase of emergency ofcourse.

Either get Baht from India or just convert INR to Baht from a local shop in Thailand, it will still save money rather than converting INR to USD first and then again USD to Baht since you will be paying double conversion.
@@tejask4889 for 5:53 if you listen to the whole thing again, I lost my wallet. So USD was kept for emergency as I was doing 2 countries together. It came handy as I was out of Thai baht and cards were costing a bomb. for 6:30 - I did say get INR converted into Thai baht. Alternate option agar already aapke pass USD padha hai from previous trips (if you are a frequent traveller you have USD left over), so you can use that also. Also, it is always a good thing to do to take 70% of the money you think you will spend converted into the currency of the country and rest as dollars kyuki agar bachh bhi gaya toh next country mein kaam ajayega but Thai baht apki next country mein kaam nhi ayega.

Free visa is not valid for 2-3 days its 30 days. Even the paid system is 14 day visa when you pay

What is the logic of carrying USD instead of Thai Baht directly? You will be paying double conversion which does not make any sense! I see a lot of people blindly following this and even recommending it to other without actually doing the calculation..!
if you did not listen carefully, let me say it again - I mentioned to get your cash converted into thai baht from India only. Or withdraw it from Thailand depending on the card you have.
I had USD for emergency purpose which came handy incase of emergency ofcourse.
@@khushboo.vasudeva You said you took $200 with you which was a 'smart' thing to do (5:53), also you have suggested taking USD from India and then convert it to Baht from a local shop in Thailand (6:30), which is why I am curious why is everyone suggesting carrying USD when it actually doesn't make sense and is a loss of money. Either get Baht from India or just convert INR to Baht from a local shop in Thailand, it will still save money rather than converting INR to USD first and then again USD to Baht since you will be paying double conversion.
@@tejask4889 for 5:53 if you listen to the whole thing again, I lost my wallet. So USD was kept for emergency as I was doing 2 countries together. It came handy as I was out of Thai baht and cards were costing a bomb.
for 6:30 - I did say get INR converted into Thai baht. Alternate option agar already aapke pass USD padha hai from previous trips (if you are a frequent traveller you have USD left over), so you can use that also.
Also, it is always a good thing to do to take 70% of the money you think you will spend converted into the currency of the country and rest as dollars kyuki agar bachh bhi gaya toh next country mein kaam ajayega but Thai baht apki next country mein kaam nhi ayega.
