Ok, this might be a hot take, but it makes me a little sad to see how they have Glenn Kotche, who is an INCREDIBLE drummer, playing this super simple rythms, like what a waste. You should definetly follow him on Instagram btw, he has a project in which he plays these really creative grooves in odd timings adding all sorts of “”things”” to his drumkit to make it sound different. The song is ok, i guess… I just miss the more experimental side of Wilco
The best drummers play in service of the song. That's why Ringo is so underrated. If Wilco had Kotche doing stupid fills and fancy stuff all over, this wouldn't be a good song.
