Strong and vulnerable, emotional and reserved, extremely handsome and dignified, Gregory Peck is the most attractive and professional actor ever. Can't compare him to anybody else.
It was a honor to meet Mr.Peck back in 2001...I was just this young girl in the military and first time in California. I did not know all of his movies and career and was very nervous to talk. But he made me feel like I was just as glam as any of those Actors...truly a lovey man and this vid brings back those memories! 🌹🌹🌹
Gregory Peck was such a great actor, so handsome and had a great voice.. He was so sexy in Duel of the Sun or Lust in the Dusk. He was also a wonderful friend. When Ava Gardner died he adopted her dog. So glad that he married his soul mate Veronique.
My favorite actor! He was a man that we all aspire to emulate. On and off the screen, everybody loved him. Rest in peace, Sir! You were indeed a man for all seasons.
How different from the "stars" who now occupy Hollywood. Humble and appreciative of his blessing throughout his life and career. Present day actors should study this man's example.
The amazing thing about Gregory Peck is that you become so immersed in his character you could completely forget you were watching an actor. It was like watching a real-life true story. One of a kind brilliant man. He will forever be my Horatio Hornblower. He deserved every accolade for every role he played.
My all time favorite actor because of his integrity, and balance he was able to maintain in his personal life. Gregory Peck was who he was and had his share of challenges in life, and knew the importance to move forward. An extraordinary man.
I understand your feelings I’ll 89 I love movies. The first I remember was Fred Astaire, my father taught me tap dancing and I was around 5 yrs old when I saw this movie.i would leave the theater and tap dance,I now have a large family, counting the married in there are 77 down to 5 great great grandchildren. 2 more babies coming, great grandchildren.
Julie, yes, he was the most handsome man in the world. And much more. His wife was so lucky to have him all those years. And I'm glad he had her. What a fairytale, that was beautiful and real.
This man deserved at least 5 oscars for the movies To kill a Mockingbird, The big country, The yearling, Spellbound, Duell in the Sun and The snows of Kilimanjaro, The men in the Grey Flanel suite, The Paradine Case, The Keys of the Kingdom, Arabesque. He also was great in all the other movies. Even in comedies and westerns
Gregory Peck has always been one of my favorites. He's one of the very few that remained in high standing, without the controversy that so many others had. I wish there were more Gregory Pecks in the world. 🥰💖
@@christinalock9937 I agree! I lived in California for a few years and worked as an extra in many films and TV shows, and I was surprised at how some of the lesser known actors treated the extras like garbage. While some big named actors with huge careers, were very kind and treated us like we were just one of them. With a few exceptions. And those are like the ones you're talking about. They are "famous" and act like they are better than everyone else. It's sad.
I think I have seen almost all of his movies. One of the best Actors of all time. I still watch them, that's why we're discussing him now his work stands the test of time.
A few years ago, I got the chance to briefly meet and have a photo taken with Gregory Peck's grandson, Ethan Peck. I first noticed Gregory Peck when I was about 7, many decades ago. When I saw his very handsome, tall, and dark haired grandson in person, I started to tear up and was afraid I'd cry because of the chance to meet such a direct connection to Mr. Peck, senior. I said that to Ethan as I approached. He immediately put his arms around me and I proudly show off our photo in my home.
The western pictured @ 8:25 is not "The Yearling;" it's "Duel in the Sun," with Jennifer Jones; however, "The Yearling" came out the same year, 1946. Great actor - There is NO comparison between him and today's Hollywood.
Gregory Peck was a wonderful actor my favourite film is To Kill a Mockingbird such an understated performance there is no one who can match his performance in that film🥰
A few Hollywood people impressed me as having personal integrity. Gregory Peck was one. “12:00 O’ Clock High” and “To Kill A Mocking Bird” both showed him at his best. His performances were always deeply engaging. Courtesy of Half Vast Flying
Gregory Peck favourite heroine was the beautiful Ava Gardner. He loved her and said so In quite a few interviews. After her death he gave her dog a home and employed the lady who looked after her till both died. From all those leading ladies he adored Ava!
I just realized I had a number of Gregory Peck movies in my video collection. I have MAN IN THE GREY FLANNEL SUIT, ARABESQUE, MOBY DICK, BOYS FROM BRAZIL, ROMAN HOLIDAY, CAPTAIN NEWMAN M.D. THE OMEN and TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD. I really like his acting and the roles he chose for himself. Dignified and respectabe gentleman.
He was my very favorite Hollywood actor. He was SO handsome, classy and such a gentleman. I hate to say it but, they don't make 'em like they used to. May his soul rest in peace. Thank you, Mr. Peck.❤❤❤
My favourite of his movies is “The Yearling” ; I love the sincere way he says to Jane Wyman : “Don’t be afraid to love the boy” then later to her : “He’s not a yearling anymore”. I’m surprised this classic family film is hardly ever mentioned these days. It must be said that (IMO) he could be miscast ; “Moby Dick”, “Beloved Infidel” and “The Boys From Brazil”.
The saddest movie that I’ve ever seen is Roman Holiday starring Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck. I watched that movie about 2 or 3 months ago and when I think of how it ended, my stomach hurts and I have to hold my breath to keep from crying. The movie was so good until the ending was so sad. I would love to watch it again, but I would have to see the way it had to end, and I couldn’t stand that. 😭😭😭😭😭
So sad but it’s so much like what happens in real life sometimes that’s what made it such a great movie! I know because it happened to me and you spend the rest of your life trying to move on!
Jeez, what the handsome man with a beautiful baritone voice! I could hear his voice forever... He was perfect.
Peck always represented the man we hoped lived in the true heart of real men.
He was a complete portrait of a "Gentleman". His voice was unmatched and so was his acting. RIP my hero.
That voice, that voice. Even in the movie where he was Jimmy Ringo.
My heroe too.
There will never be another Gregory Peck, he had such a presence.. the voice the looks, a beautiful soul, thank you for the films. ❤❤
My favorite actor as well.

There's only one Gregory Peck. No one can match him. He was a true gentleman with a baritonic voice that is very attractive.
What a man, he was a man's man. God love him. It is sad that we don't have more men like him.
How could the Academy not honor him with at least 3 Oscars. Such an outstanding actor and human being. I loved him.
Strong and vulnerable, emotional and reserved, extremely handsome and dignified, Gregory Peck is the most attractive and professional actor ever. Can't compare him to anybody else.
Oh what a wonderful, handsome man. Also he seemed like such a wonderful caring man.

Pure class, beauty and humility - a perfect recipe for magic. I was mesmerised by him since I was 6 or 7 y.o. God rest his soul.
My favourite actor...he was the best!
Most beautiful man ever lived.
He was one of the best of old Hollywood. A fine actor who was able to choose his roles quite well and fill them with memorable performances.
He was so handsome and masculine, yet not overbearing. Love his voice.
Yes he was the whole package, love his voice too and boy was he gorgeous . ☺❤
Mr. Right, he embodied everything a man should be in any era
There are no words that can do him justice. He was everything beautiful and good. So genuine and humble. I will love and respect him always.
How different from the "stars" who now occupy Hollywood. Humble and appreciative of his blessing throughout his life and career. Present day actors should study this man's example.
Charleton Heston comes to mind.

Gregory Peck is a legendary actor. To me he was the best. I like his baritonic voice very stimulating
My all time favorite actor because of his integrity, and balance he was able to maintain in his personal life. Gregory Peck was who he was and had his share of challenges in life, and knew the importance to move forward. An extraordinary man.
What were some of his challenges?
What a handsome leading man...
87 years old...A life well lived.
Gregory Peck was a cut far above the rest of the lot. I just loved him. Still do.

What a fine actor. I really liked him in 'The Big Country'. One of the best Westerns ever made.
I agree.my father was a man much like him. An intelligent, diffident, engaging, quietly strong, fair person whom you respected.
You could see in his performances a Man Of Great Dignity. I just saw Pork Chop Hill the other night he was terrific in there.

Other than the fact he lived so much longer, he always reminded me of Lou Gehrig: beautiful, humble, kind, loving and so, so talented.

He is perfect with Audrey Hepburn in that movie in Rome. A real gentleman.
Roman Holiday. A tear jerker at the end. She was 25 and got the Oscar.
Roman holiday
If Gregory Peck is in a film, that will be a great film.
His voice was unique...powerful
The saddest movie that I’ve ever seen is Roman Holiday starring Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck. There are certain movies that elicit such an emotional response in all of us, aren't there??
If that is the saddest then don't watch Schindlers List.
So sad but it’s so much like what happens in real life sometimes that’s what made it such a great movie! I know because it happened to me and you spend the rest of your life trying to move on!
He was so damn good looking and classy always dressing really well
Beautiful man
