      How come you didn't introduce some facts like Orson Welles being in a relationship with Billie Holiday or that John Wayne was a racist or a Yul last screen appearance was an advertisement to tell people not to smoke since he was going to be gone can you do a reload to introduce them facts

      Well his family didn’t disclose cause of death but like you say old age or natural causes are the likely culprits

    Wow! Never knew Charlie Chaplin and John Wayne were so good looking when they were younger! And first time I’ve seen a picture of Yul with hair! He was smart to shave his head. Definitely one of the few men who look BETTER bald!

    Thank you were including Audie Murphy. Most people don't think of him much anymore. At the time of his death I was 13 and had the BIGGEST crush on him. My friends were in love with Donny Osmond, David Cassidy and Bobby Sherman. Nope, Audie was it for me. His tragic death broke my heart. Again, thanks. I was delighted.

    Watching most of these actors on screen in their later years made me a fan especially Gregory Peck saw a video of him holding his grandson Ethan when he was born saying being a grandfather was his favorite role now Ethan's as actor in his own right

      I feel that commentary is good if it’s done perfectly! My English is good enough but I don’t feel like my voice isn’t really fit for narration. I’m happy to not have to do it 😁

    Last year I became interested in movies made in the 1930’s. I’ve watched close to 100 films. I love the actors listed here. Such great movies from the era!

    James Stewart lived a long life. He was one of Hollywood's greats & loved by many. I loved him especially inHitchcock's movies & all of them.❤

      @DataWatch. He did 4 for Hitchcock. Yes, Rear Window in 1954, Rope in 1948, The Man Who Knew Too Much 1955 & Vertigo 1958. The other stand out movie, not with Hitchcock was It's A Wonderful Life 1946.

    People smoked like freight trains back then. A lot of deaths were caused by lung cancer & other forms of it. I fall down the rabbit hole learning about old stars sometimes 🙂 Wld love to see a video about Katherine Hepburn. She was quite a lady & tomboy.

      Ian Fleming was a friend of David Niven and he imagined him in the role. Cary Grant at nearly 60 and in fairness also Niven in his mid fifties would have been too old for the role even though Grant, as stated was the first choice. He wouldn’t commit to a series of films. Luckily Sean Connery at 31 took the job and the rest is history.

    No Burt Reynolds? Incidentally Marlon Brando hated Burt Reynolds because they looked so much alike. He insisted Burt grow his iconic mustache to tell them apart. The rest as they say is history.
    My two personal favorites on this list are Jimmy Stewart and Robert Mitchum. Now those two were handsome as hell

    Fred and Adell Astaire’s childhood home still stands on South 10th Street here in Omaha. I guy bought it a few years ago and he’s restoring it. Progress is slow, I’m sure he’s pay as you go. His plans are to make a small museum out of it. After living most all my life my wife and I found Marlon Brando’s childhood home last year. We talked to the homeowner and that was part of he and his wife’s reason of buying it.

      @@arnaldoiannotta2092 I think a lot of guys in those days looked old when they were young! I remember seeing pictures of my grandad at around 40 and swear he looks 60. He’s definitely 40 though because my mum was a toddler at the time and she’s in the pic with him. I’m nearly 48 myself and look way way younger than he does in that photo. He smoked all his life and drank a lot before he retired and he still lived to just shy of his 80th birthday

      Hey...I'll call you Mr Data you younger than me, I'm 56..but like you especially when I shave I still do look much younger..early 40s I'd say 😂 When you young and beautiful you don't think of old age. Then I can tell you although I don't remember when I started to go grey ( hair beard chest)never thought of anything, only when I noticed the very 1st grey hair on my ⚽️⚽️ that's when it hit me, and thinking...the process has begun. And even one or two of them and their blessed life might share my opinion, I'm definitely sticking with Bette. 😂😂

      I think lack of knowledge of what was good and bad is 💯the culprit! These people wouldn’t have known how bad those things plus poor diet and lack of exercise. What I noticed is most of them aged pretty badly, I’m nearly 48 and I would be gutted if I looked like some of these guys at that age

    Clarke (correct spelling!) Gable was Mae West's "Boy Toy" before he appeared in any film! Gable's first speaking part movie (starring Mae West and the Eldest Barrymore brother) is sadly no longer extant. Their Lincoln limo breaks-down in the vacant town of "Desert Palm Springs, CA", and Gable runs out (in a tank top, racy for 1928!) and says "Look at your motor folks?" Mae turns to Barrymore and says (banned in Chicago and all of New Jersey) "Look at those sinewy muscles!"

    I know that Sabrina Carpenter is not related to the topic of this video but is she 4’11” or 5’0” because Google said that she is 4’11” however Sabrina revealed that she is 5’0” herself on Sabrina Carpenter’s Wired Auto Complete Interview and said “I remember when I hit 5 feet” and other websites say that she is 5’0” and I would love to see her on one of your videos like maybe a “Female Singers Height Comparison” video and know what you think is she 151 centimeters, closer to 4’11” or 152 centimeters, closer to 5’0”.

    When I see these actors when they are older, the look older than I expected them to look. I wonder if this is the effect of today's actors, male and female, using Botox and having cosmetic surgery, or did the earlier generation just lead rougher lives?

It's sad though that this takes away from him being a fine actor. He reminds me so much of my father who looked very much like him. Maybe this is why I still have a soft spot for The Duke.
