    Hey, in which month you travelled to South Africa. As per weather which months are good ones for travelling to Capetown and Kruger National Park ?

    • @Trippylens_

      Hey! We traveled in August. August onwards is good month for both Kruger animals spotting and also for Cape Town as it is the end of rainy season. Have a great trip!

    Any specific tips regarding safety issues out there?

    • @Trippylens_
      @Trippylens_  19 дней назад

      Stick to touristy places. Don’t visit isolated areas specially post dark. Don’t park at random places but at safe parking slots. Don’t take ride/lift from unknown people and only book cabs from official cab providers

    Hey i loved the video and plan to replicate the journey you took on your trip, as you mentioned on Day 4 you went inside the kruger national park and spent the day there, how did you plan it, i suppose it was not a game drive so the lodge provided their vehicle?

    • @Trippylens_
      @Trippylens_  7 месяцев назад

      Hey! We had to book it separately and our lodge people helped us book the entire safari and we had to pay some extra amount for it

  • @waqarqarshi

    Hello, who did you book your safari with ?

    • @Trippylens_
      @Trippylens_  3 месяца назад

      It was included in our lodge stay. And the full day safari we did was also arranged by our lodge owners so didn’t have to book separately

    Hey, where did you stay in Cape town? also while coming from Hermanus, you basically took an long route just to visit Chapman's peak drive correct? as you would have already crossed cape town while in transit from Hermanus

    • @Trippylens_
      @Trippylens_  5 месяцев назад

      Hey! We stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Cape Town - Upper Eastside.
      We directly went from Hermanus to Cape Town & checked into our hotel. We then drove to Chapmans Peak in the evening.

    Very informative and a detailed video, thanks a lot!! We are planning for our trip to South Africa, however coming across many articles and advisories mentioning it not to be a safe country for tourists too. How was your experience with respect to safety please?

    • @Trippylens_
      @Trippylens_  5 месяцев назад

      We had a wonderful experience but we were being extra careful.
      it’s a safe country as long as you stick to some general guidelines! We were there for 11 days.. don’t have a single incident to tell you where we felt we were not safe.
      We avoided isolated areas and made sure that we parked our car at designated parking slots to avoid car break- ins.

    Not fit for most people, almost all the time you were running behind animals.

    • @Trippylens_

      Umm it’s called jungle safari and you sit in a jeep and chase animals 🤣You don’t run behind them so how is it not ‘fit’ for most people?
