Traveling to the Winter Wonderland festival in in Mongolia is a travel event of its own. It took more than a day of travel though central Mongolia, but what an adventure it was! We traveled to a horse festival, did sledding, and tried ice fishing before we arrived at the hot springs. Even though the events along the way to the hot springs travel weren't planned, there are so many things to do in Mongolia during the winter to keep you occupied on your Mongolian travels!

Wow, I love the winter wardrobe too! I was thinking how fun the sledding while being pulled by car is (can't believe I've never tried that before), yet when I realized it looked like y'all were driving on a lake, that just made it that much more fun/crazy!
I found out we were driving on a lake after the fact. My heart sank because I always remember movies where the ice gave way and people fell in...lol. Luckily, the -25c weather held up while we were on top. Overall, it was a super fun experience!!
