I bumped into my dismissive avoidant dumper ex girlfriend, nearly 3 months after the breakup and I’ve lost 45pounds. We walked past each other at our local supermarket. We just stared at each other, no words, blank expressions and kept walking. She still seemed cold. I couldn’t bring myself to say hello. I wanted to show her I didn’t care and trying to move on, but want to give her space, in the hope she reaches out.

I’m really hoping this is working for me. It’s been two months since the last time she reached out and a year since we broke up. Nc is so difficult but I can only hope it’s working on her

Me and my ex had a ' good 'relationship but we broke up a few times over the course of 5 years.
I blocked her which I have never done before. If they want to get in touch they can email, write a letter ir even show up. It isn't easy, but I feel a lot better mentally for blocking her. I'm not always wondering when the phone beeps 🙂
