Hi can you inform if one has to hold a JD from a Canadian University or whether NCA qualified foreign graduates who are enrolled with a prov bar Council eligible to apply?

If i become a legal officer, would i be able to base my career near my home (Montreal or Toronto). I know I would have to travel abroad occasionally but would i be able to have the majority of my work be done in a city of my choice?
So my question is this, unless I misunderstood, I have to become a lawyer first before joining the Forces? Unless I'm mistaken I would be a 26 (give or take) year old Officer Cadet. What doesn't make sense to me, however, is this, in order to be commissioned as an Officer in the Canadian Armed Forces you require a university degree. Once one receives his/her degree, they are promoted to Second-Lieutenant (2Lt). So I may not be a fully-trained Legal Officer, but I would still be an Officer. Just as a one would not be a fully trained Medical Officer until graduating Medical School and completing the necessary training. So I'm hoping that the CAF can offer me some insight. Thank you.
I have a unique question: How far do legal benefits extend to the military's soldiers? For instance, would the military help its soldiers with something like the immigration of one's spouse into Canada? I know that the American military has JAG for its soldiers' needs.
Heaven's Movement i actually got a presentation from a guy i know and he talked about that. He said that he thought that they would provide family insurace for him but his wife was in a foreign a country at the time which made him ineligible for that benefit as the spouse must be a canadian resident.

What's the legal rank structure? I see there are legal officers then Deputy judge advocates for bases etc
