Why would you play online alone? Like it’s not even half of what the single player offers as far as detail and things to do, not to mention it runs worse/ looks worse… I mean if you’ve been playing since the beginning, what is there even left to do anymore? Daily’s? Run your business so you can buy the same clothes over and over again? I just don’t get it

I was just a solo hunter. I’d spend hours in game, just out in the wilderness hunting anything from birds to muskrats. Camping in the woods and going through dozens of day/night cycles. Going back to town and selling hundreds of dollars worth of product.
Man I always was a solo trader just hunting in New Hanover driving in my mini wagon hunting bison deer bucks or any pelt or corpse that could be sold making up to 400$ each trip I chose to sell my goods to fine people
@ just always stay read if someone comes near you. You never know if they want trouble. Select a few nice secluded stretches of land you like so if someone moves in one of bit, you can ride to another and hunt there until they leave. It’s a peaceful way of playing.
The phantom rider. One that comes through public lobbies every so often, but does all the grinding in private lobby. They will ride through and help low levels then disappear.

As a former PlayStation aficionado with over 900 hours invested in the game, I recently upgraded to my first gaming PC. The difference is remarkable-replaying the game on this new setup is a feast for the eyes, with stunning graphics and a level of detail I never knew I was missing. The immersive experience has brought back the excitement and thrill of my earlier days in the game, making it feel like a whole new adventure.
I’m a very certain type of player, a rare breed if you will. I have been there since the very first day, I have played as every bit of new content came out. I came to gain an encyclopedic knowledge of the game. I met many wonderful people along the way, they have all gone on yet I still remain. I have taken breaks, but I always come back no matter what. I have created many different characters, and I play them all. Each one has a backstory. My first was a character intended for roleplay, but after a while I finally started making friends and playing with other players. I don’t get many opportunities to play with friends or anyone anymore but I come to life when the opportunities to do so present themselves. Now I just love riding the trails, and getting to share a little bit of my knowledge with others. I started my whole online life with games like RDRO, and gtao but the one that I enjoy most is RDRO. I have been there since it’s very beginning, and I intend to still be there at the very end.
Frontier reminiscer + cinematographer + the one that can't let go. Day 1 of Beta to now, the game that spoiled all other games for me 😅 I still remember the first session, when no one was higher than lvl 12, visiting Guarma with the posse or when we organized 32 player "pirate" events on the still drivable huge boats by the lake 😢
Never cheated or glitched and I'm lvl 1000 with 6125 gold and just over 1 million in cash and own everything in game because they didn't re set the dailys back then so you could make 11 gold bars a day just off dailys if you did them every day and I had a streak of 489 days going but I suppose it was the only game I played for 4 years straight and I worked 5 days a week o the good ole days
Been around since the Beta when Catfish spawned in mansion fountains for some reason. I quit when blood money came out on console, but just a month ago I got back into it on PC

You almost got it right with the description of 7. The eternal rider realizes that Rockstar hasn't abandoned the game, that's just what the content creators say. If they had abandoned it we would not be getting new missions and updates like we have been.
A eternal rider since December 2023, running on xbox, and hell, ive been part of a huge crew at one point, although it imploded, ive been recently picking back up the pieces, as im now i guess the de facto leader of the remnants thats reforming

I am Solo as well. Solo Lobbyist. I have been in the game from the early days but I have yet to complete 1/3 or more of the game. I just keep it off to the side for later when I want to. Thats the Moonshiner role and the Naturalist. I am Naturalist Lvl 4 though. And I have not gotten the +10 levels of the Bounty Hunter either. I have also not played the Single player game yet.

No, 100% of the game is nearly impossible, because some of the challenges cant do without "cheating" (like steal one hunderet stranger missions, when last one you see last year is definition of impossible), but Im trying get close, like its possible. This month Im hoping to reach ressuply awards for Trader and Im extremly proud on canoe award :).
I’m the kind who has been playing the game on and off since release of online love the world but have gotten bored with the gameplay so I play with no weapon retical first person n free aim makes a whole different experience
I still love the game. Been playing online and story. Online is sometimes full of jerks still but not as often. I am a completionist now but I switch up.
I sadly quit after switching from PS4 to PC.. I spent hours and real money on my PS4 character then had a sad realization that I couldn't continue using them on PC and didn't wanna start completely over and lose about $200 worth of Gold Bar purchases.. Completely Ruined Rdr online for me.. RIP Rdr Online

@ZumieFiasco It just sucks Rockstar doesn't let you port your character from console to PC.. I get the other way around since some cheat on PC but as far as I know console players can't.. Videos would be better if I could play 😞
@ZumieFiasco Yeah, I just thought if Rockstar isn't going to add anything more, I might as well try and complete all the challenges and get every piece of clothing in the game done then I can flex on my friends who stopped playing when I have everything in the game
I started back up during trader month, made 30 grand and put 30 of everything in my satchel, 30 perfect, 30 good, i even got 30 poor of everything. Stupid perch, bass, snakeskins, you name it. Collecting 30 poor of stuff was the last, just shot holes in them after they was already dead. Im lvl 300ish, nothing special, but im out of things to do, except that "bring a goddamn posse" mission. Always been solo so its never panned out with strangers... i recommend newbies start with trader and do collecting on the side as you wonder. Of course every job has stuff youll want, especially wilderness camp.
I miss everything and every type of player in RDR!! Even the griefers!! They kept us on our toes when we would run wagons yes it got annoying but if you embraced it and played the game as intended and didn’t leave lobby. It turned you into a different type of beast! Knowing what to look out for, the anticipation of almost being at the drop off! It was a very nerve recking type of stress! That once delivered felt amazing! And if the wagon was blown up just acting like a noob patiently waiting to catch them during their wagon run and just blowing it up and laughing at them for thinking the west was sweet 😂
I’m guilty of being a “Non Grass Toucher” for this game 😂 I’ve been playing since May of 2019, and I’m still playing to this day. 4250 Hours, Platinum Trophy, Rank 480. Feel free to call me a freak but this game is essentially my life 😂 This game is truly beautiful, and the only thing that keeps me going is the crew community on this game, it certainly isn’t what it used to be but we’re still breathing, organizing, and having a hell of a time making memories and having a ton of fun in the process.
Started 2021. Too late for outlaw passes and Halloween pass 1 unfortunately, and it's still my favorite game Edit: Call myself a grinder cause I try to join the lvl 1000 club.. also a photographer type. Love the beauty of this game.

Release date beta boy here. No longer playing online. After all my buddies left I only lasted a couple months. I'd still play but canceled my online subscription cause it was the only game I played online anymore. Still playing story mode to this day though, for the 🤔 who knows how many times through. 😂

I still play have since beta I run a ranch and trade company we run trader wagons out of our ranch and we do it twice a week I pay my ranch hands and foreman’s 600 a week to work at the ranch and trade company
I still play from time to time. The newer players have brought a bit of life back to the game and you can still have a laugh with them. I prefer to help them out, play bodyguard against the griefers. Happy to help folk out if they are in PS. Stealth_Reappo
