Powermatic 3+ Plus Overview and Usage

In this video I'll show you the Powermatic 3+ device as well as how it operates.
The machine automatically stirs and measures the tobacco so all you do is put it in - don't compress the tobacco, just put it in without worrying - insert the empty cigarette tube, press START and voila! A filled tube comes out in a matter of seconds!
You should experiment with different tobacco and moisture - some tobacco will agree with the machine more. For example, Winston doesn't give hopper errors and cycles less than Rothmans even when it's almost depleted, but if you fill enough Rothmans it will cycle 4 or so times until tobacco level is depleted enough but it starts to cycle more and sometimes gives hopper error if it's depleted enough despite there being enough tobacco inside. Rothmans is a finer cut than Winston. Also, Rothmans fills it up nearly to the filter while Winston leaves a gap between the tobacco and filter. Note that this is with freshly-opened Winston and when it dries enough it may fill to the filter. I haven't tried it with homegrown farmer's tobacco because I dislike it as it smells and burns your throat and makes you cough.
Too moist tobacco may result in hopper errors, and will also be hard to drag on so make sure you dry it if your cigarette is too hard to drag on.
The hopper can hold quite a bit of tobacco inside it so it should provide you with much more than 18 cigarettes when fully filled (18 is the amount my cigarette holder can hold).
The device is much faster and pleasant to use than a hand-operated tube filler and there is no need to measure tobacco or anything with the Powermatic 3+ - it will fill it tight enough without any gaps in the cigarette. It's also easy and you don't get bored and lazy unlike the hand-operated filler.
I got my Powermatic 3+ used for 120 or so USD and that's why it shows so many cigarettes made in the video - the seller sells fixed machines where the motors and other components are replaced with genuine parts rather than being fixed so it's like new.
Overall, while there is some preparations needed and a bit of a learning curve (such as drying your tobacco before using it) I really recommend it as it's really fun and easy to use while being quick.
