    The barrel is likely an early 50s commercial barrel. I have an arsenal rebuilt 1911A1 with a 1945 Colt frame, a 50s commercial barrel and 1970s GI replacement slide.
    I wished mine had at least matching slide/frame even if the rest is commercial parts.

    The auction at RIA for this Singer beauty was recent, Mid April 2018. What did the hammer drop on this pistol? Also RIA had a boxed Walker Colt. Been googling all over for the final price at auction on these pistols and can't find anything. Can somebody post this info??

      Quick Google search led me to lot 1755 for April 14 2018 auction, price realized was $172,500 for s/n S800111, no idea on that Walker though.

    It's a trophy in some body's collection.fire the weapon, it was meant to be used.many museums have found that these weapons actually begin to deteriate from no use.
