The most overlooked, non mentioned aspect of this, is the length. On the debut album this tune was barely over 5 minutes. The epic Alive track clocks in at almost 12 glorious minutes. The drum solo, by Mr. Peter Criss and the infamous interaction between Paul Stanley and the crowd made this band one of the biggest concert draws of the 70's. Listening to this it's no wonder why Paul Stanley has almost no voice left now 😞. Damn it almost seems like he didn't realize his own range.
Kiss are underrated as musicians. The solos aren't cliche rock licks, they always have unique element to them. Gene is underrated on his thunderous ax bass. Gene also has the strongest voice when he sings. They will give any band a run for their money.
In 2019, I took my 2 sons who at the time were 19 and 10 to see KISS on the farewell tour and it was a great show. Fortunately, I've seen KISS 2 other times, but it was cool enjoying a KISS extravaganza with my boys.
One of the greatest KISS songs of all time. Myself and my best friend at the time attended this show together in South Australia. Was our first KISS live concert experience and my first proper rock concert. Can't believe I just saw them 8 more times this past month on their farewell tour.
Sure but they need to watch the original band in their heyday from the 70's Not a recent live clip 40+ years later Check ,- Kiss "She" Live Cobo Hall 76
Great video! I got to see Kiss in 1979 and it was amazing. It was much more than a concert, it was rock theatre… I would like to request The Beatles’ Revolution (live version.) Later Beatles live performances are rare. You won’t be disappointed. Thanks.
Come on, you have to watch the original band in their heyday from the 70's Not a recent live clip 40+ years later Check ,- Kiss "She" Live Cobo Hall 76
It's a sin that you didn't do the KISS ALIVE version ! Must have been some youngster that put in the request... well go back to the real KISS years & check... 100,000 years on the KISS ALIVE album and see the difference !
For the hardcore kiss fans I know that it's not really what you guys do but if you get a kiss you get a kiss reaction and if it's a song that was recorded by the original lineup try try to use a video with the original lineup. Whoever suggested this specific video Made a mistake. I love the song regardless, But vintage Peter Chris is better than Eric singer and as freely as better than Tommy Thayer anytime
@@MrAndrum11 That is a ridiculous comparison. if u want to pretend that Kiss is the same as those other bands, well thats just mental illness. Are Kiss still gonna be Kiss when Gene and Paul replace themselves? I mean u do realize theyve been floating that bullshit for decades. Even Paul and Gene said it wasnt Kiss when they got Carr and Vincent even though they still put out 2 amazing albums. Youre the type of guy that goes sees Foreigner w no original members and claims its the same.
Gene is such an underrated bass player.
I totally agree!
Yes he is
Depends on when you were born lol, not to me. :) He's also a brilliant human being.

In 500 years kiss will be still remebered...thats for Sure...❤😊
Missed this reaction. My favourite band since their beginning.
Tommy on the lead guitar, Eric S on the drums, Gene on bass, Paul ripping his vocal box, they were all giving so much

Literally thousands of bands inspired by KISS. And everyone gives them shit for no reason. Most underrated band in history.
Exactly, the solos all have certain notes that pull them out of the standard rock solo. Gene's voice is the strongest.
Do yourselves a favour and listen to KISS Alive front to back. Headphones and turn it up!!! Sick AF 👍👍👍. Great reaction guys!!!

No idea what band lineup # this is, but you really should listen to the original on Kiss Alive
This is with Tommy Thayer on guitar and Eric Singer on drums
Absolutely. Rock and Roll at its finest! Keep on rockin'!!!!
It's the current lineup, which is the longest lineup KISS ever had.
