GCWR may be less or about the same as the 3500 which people use for towing. You can not use s 5500 for towing a 17,000 pound RV trailer. Even though it could, these trucks are not made for, marketed for towing big RV's, they are commercial made for hauling weight on the truck itself.

Very nice build on that new truck platform...….great work.....this truck seem more drivable, manageable, and a better alternative compared to the Freightliner M2 trucks, especially for private use. I own a Duramax pickup and that Duramax/Allison powertrain combo is virtually bulletproof. The creature comforts and technology are also superior to the Freightliner platform as well. I think you guys hit a home run.....i subscribed and i look forward to more videos...…...please do an interior walk through and show the engine compartment as well. thanks.

Well technically the 2015-2019 3500 GM dually beds are a direct match to the cab. I have had many people ask us to do that type of upfit. There is a little bit more to it than just slapping a bed on. It can certainly be done depending on how someone would want to go about doing it.

Al yes it is. We can get various extensions depending on customer needs. This Chevrolet 6500 MD 2WD sits very low compared to most 4WD chassis and even other 2WD chassis. The rails and the extension raised this hitch roughly 5" which put the top of the 5th wheel plate around 49" I believe.
I want to buy a trailer for 5 cars and help me choose between dodge ram 5500 and silverado 6500 which can drive a heavy trailer so that there are no problems on the scales on the road with the police
RjKeenan, 22.5" wheels currently aren't an option from the factory. I have confirmed this with the dealer we work with. I would have to do some measuring and find out what tires are available in that wheel size to know if there would be in physical fitment issues with the body of the truck. Our hauler body should be more than capable of handling that larger wheel and potentially larger tire size. Thank you.

This truck comes equipped with a V8 Duramax Diesel engine rated at 350HP and 700 LB-FT of Torque. I don't have the build specs for this exact truck. Yes, it can. Pretty much any truck that is a dually and a long bed or longer. So trucks like a MEGA CAB Dodge Ram we couldn't build a bed for.
