    I just purchased this kit and have watched all 4 videos from this series. Thanks for the tips!

    Tough getting the body on the chassis. Your the fist person I've seen do a full build on this kit. You did a Great Job!!!! Looks Great!!!! Thanks for sharing

      Thank you! I admittedly could have done that assembly better, but it was the only even somewhat tricky part of the build. Round 2 really did a nice job on this one!

    Watching you put the body and chassis together, was a real nail biting moment. Thought for sure you where going to chip it somewhere, glad you didn't.

      It looked worse than it was. This was about my third time doing it...the first was a test fit of just the chassis, then one where I included the interior (and when I found out that the order of assembly in the instructions was wrong). In retrospect I should have been more delicate about it for the video, but I also knew by then that the body had a fair amount of flex where it needed it.

      I've always been a sucker for the classic quad headlight look.

    Will you be planning to make another will engine?? Greatest challenge 😁😁

      Thank you! I do want to get another one, either to build with all the gizmos and gadgets included (so an engine could definitely be part of that) or as the movie version.

    Great job, turned out fantastic... Got a little nervous while you were trying to get your body in place.. I could feel the paint getting scratched or a crack in the body 😖

      Fair point 🙂 Fortunately, it looked/sounded worse than it was. This was about my third time putting the body and chassis together that day - first a test fit of just the chassis, then with the interior following the instructions and finding out it wouldn't work that way - so I was more comfortable with how much stress the body could take without doing any actual damage. Thanks!

    Super nice work! I am building this now, The black paint is nice and not heavy coated ... Did you prime the body first before spraying TS-14?

    • @Spencer1984
      @Spencer1984  2 месяца назад

      Thank you! No, since the body didn't need any filler work and was already nice and smooth, I just gave it a good cleaning before going straight to paint.

    Awesome job .👍 You didn't put the figures inside.

      Thank you! No, I pretty much never include figures in my builds - maybe I'll do one if they can stand next to the car, but never seated.
