    As someone that enjoys building robots etc, really appreciate these videos showing the mechanics and design of the originals, very impressive economies and efficiencies in these old robots, thankyou.

    Amazing how clever these gear arrangements are. I admire the Engineering put into this Robot. Thank you for displaying such Robot anatomies. Very informative.

    Even though it wasn’t built to last, it’s still a pretty ingenious mechanism.

      Non of the rotate-o-matic robots were built to last, but at least the old ones with mostly metal gears last longer than the ones with all plastic gears.

    Those tabs don't last long unfortunately so you have to be gentle with them.

      Bend slowly and you only get 1 or two take a parts before they fall off so never fix a tin toy for some small problem, wait for the big problems and do all the repairs at once.
