Your video might be more than two years old, but it's just as relavent today as it was the day you made it. I spent about 2 hours last weekend converting maybe 8 tables from Word to Excel due to amount of time to reformat, unmerge and merge several cells. Using your method, I was able to do the same task in about 10% of the time as the manual method. Thank you for sharing this valuable tip. Is Ctrl + J a documented feature by Microsoft. This is one that I have never heard. Again, great job on the video and kudos for sharing such a simple but valuable tip.

Hi Brian, Thank you for your video. I have a word document that is set up in this format:
Name
Address
City, State Zip
Phone
Etc.
There is not a table but just running list like that of many addresses. Do you have a way to move that information over into an excel document that would be formatted with the headings: Name, Address, City, Etc... in the columns and then the following information in rows below it. Worked for me - one glitch was that I noticed that a lot of my text (which was calibri) turned to symbols, but was able to change the text back by reapplying the (calibri) text to the whole excel document
