I’ve brought it up a couple of times. You never say anything but the Kaui coffee is excellent and at Kroger it was 4.99 part of the 5x digital. There were 2.00 on 2 coupons making them 3.99. My husband likes the dark roast!!! It comes in foil bags. Very good quality

Every year, when the Hams come down to 79 or 89 cents a pound, I buy one for lunch meat. Find one that says FULLY COOKED....and you can cut it up off the bone to use for sandwiches. With ham prices at the deli (lunchmeat counter) at $7 - $8 a pound, you cannot go wrong. I use some to cook right away for dinners, and then refrigerate or freeze the cut off portions. And the bone is made into pea soup, or saved and frozen for a later use.
I have a Walmart, Meijer and small IGA in my town. I have learned to shop the sales. Meijer has toll house chips 3/$6 , family size ritz 2/$8 a great deal in my opinion. I will pick up several of the ham shanks. Betty Crocker cake and Brownie mixes are 99 cents, Hellmans mayo $2.99 with a $3. Off MPerks.

I was at a medical appointment with my brother in Louisville. My sister had to get back , or I would have stopped at Meijer. What a shame. Our Kroger in N.Central KY did not have Asparagus for less than 1.69.

Danno.... I noticed you passed right over the Bison meats. Two years ago I purchased a pound of ground bison because I couldn't find the ground beef I wanted, in my local grocery stores. I like it so much, I'll probably never eat ground beef again. It's expensive on a small SS income but I stopped buying some foods and eat less so I can afford buying ground bison.
Bison is very healthy. Lean, to me, its somewhat "sweeter" in taste, grills beautiful, I mix a small amount of bacon with fat, or pork fat, so it doesn't dry out. We have bison ranchers in my regional area. They are at the farmers market's.

Actually it will depend on the product and date on it. Most hams are at your grocer for at least a month in the cooler. Uncut meat has an extremely long refrigerated life.

I normally buy an extra Turkey for T-Day as it is frozen, and a Frozen Ham Christmas for Easter. They are usually cheaper then. NOT this last year. Danno was getting 40+ cents more off. 1.49 cents is what you paid here. The preview ad today shows fresh ham at 99 cents a lb. My freezer is very full. Including the Fridge freezer. We had Food Poisoning 2 weeks ago, from one of these Dratted Pleez oranges. The only thing Fresh as I've been using out of stock for a while now. I know that is in date. And I scrubbed it good as I used the grated peel.
Wegmans has the best organic products. I have never had a problem finding organic foods or anything organic there. My grandson is a bit passed diapers but I remember Wegmans selling the nicest organic cotton cloth diapers. I love grass fed ,grass finished beef and butter.

Asparagus at my Kroger was terrible looking. Old and thick stalks...not very good tasting. At Meijer it was very nice...thin, fresh and tender stalks...so good tasting. I know it was only .99 lbs at Kroger but it was worth it to me to pay 1.99lb at Meijer to get such a better tasting asparagus that I enjoyed eating.
Pre brand meats come from all over the world, including China. 🤔 Why not just USA? We have enough farmers to supply the meats. Starkist Tuna is now owned by South Korea

I don’t find this to be the case, Danno use to praise Meijer and does say he loves Meijer meats , but for the past several months not so much ! In fact he pushes Kroger a lot more in my opinion now days , because of their digital coupons ! But I do think he tries to be fair about all the stores , and tells us when or if he finds good deals in whatever store he feels will help us ! This is just my opinion but I feel Danno is as up front as he can be no matter the store he is in !!

Ground beef tastes low grade...like its hamburger marked as ground beef. Anybody else notice?
