Thank you all for a great Wooly Wednesday! Comment below with your ideas for what you'll keep in your drawstring bag, or what you would like to see Marie make next!
Another small bird in 3 D please. Been wanting and trying to make a canary for my dad but struggling with it. I know there is one in the school but perhaps another...just an idea ☺️
I like the math to figure sizes out ..thank you
Loving the glasses..
Do you weigh each side?
Using it as a wine gift bag...
These bags would be beautiful to make to put Christmas gifts in instead of wrapping in paper
Thanks for another great Wooly Wednesday
I was so busy I forgot today was Wednesday 😩…I will be watching this tonight instead of tv for sure!!!
Love the joke. You’re all a lovely team. I’m in France. This is the perfect video. Thanks.
Thank you. I'm getting ready to have a felting party for a group of friends and this will be the perfect project for the occasion.
Love Wooly Wednesday! Excited for another fun project
I have just discovered you recently. I'm from Argentina and I'm a begginer.
Your tutorials are very useful to me because I can learn felting and practicing my english.
Thank you!
Happy Wooly Wednesday!
I just love the fun people working there!
I need to make one for a shoe bag for the winter season when I have to wear boots and carry my shoes!
Gotta love Kayla's funnies. Great project, I hope to get some time to make one.
Darn. I missed the show due to an unexpected but much needed nap.I just received my sari party order and am excited to put them to use.
That was probably the best job of explaining how to figure out your shrinkage rate to date. I actually understood it!!!
Great show. Just last week I was thinking about making a no-sew drawstring bag, I was making it harder than it needed to be. lol
I really enjoyed this…I will have to time how long it takes me, lol. Thanks for this lesson!!
Hi from Perth, Western Australia. I’m a new felter and love your videos. Thanks for sharing
Watching the replay. I think it would make a pretty gift bag to give. Thank you for another great tutorial. ❤️
These are gorgeous, cant wait for my Sari Party packs to arrive. And I love the no sew element.
Great idea using a trouser press for storing your resists Thanks
Love your shows.
Hi 👋 I missed the live show so, I’m watching it now 🙂
Thanks for making these videos available to those of us who can't watch in "real time!"
The embroidery adds a great touch.
Another outstanding tutorial 💪
Thank you, now I want to try this also. So many projects to do.
I'll be doing this later today, thank you for sharing your knowledge with us each week
Oh, wow! What a fun new crafty idea! Can't wait to try this.
thank you so much, I'm looking forward to next week
I missed this live show because of a work thing. I’m weaving some scarves for Xmas gifts, and I’m going to make these for gift bags. I’ll also Kumihimo the draw string. Thanks for the great idea.
This would make great dice bags for gamers!!
Missed this show until a later viewing. This bag could be used for anything. So many choices to make a beautiful piece. Thanks for the show🥰
This is so clever, love the drawstring! Would make a fantastic gift!
What a great show. This project seemed a bit more intimidating to me. Of course Marie makes it look easy but still I have a long way to go with wet felting. Love the sari silk bits of fabric though and the bag is super gorgeous.
i like the kookyness its makes it more interesting thank you for all the information you share i cant wet felt right now but i still seem to be inspired and i have alternative ideas popping in my head so thank you so much
I received my beginner bag last week and Iam going to do such a bag for my first project. Thanks so much.
Lovely project. I’m thinking of Christmas presents
I am so glad Kayla is still sharing her jokes, they DO make me laugh. Been sick with bad COVID for 16 days now, and really need her cheer! It sucks that this comes with so much fatigue, im off work but have no energy even for felting, its pretty miserable. But thankfully since ive had my vaccines I wont end up in the hospital. Stay safe and healthy everyone, and felt on! Im going to make this when I feel better, so cute!
Great WW, as usual... This bag would be really nice to hold my Tablet. Thanks!!
I think it’s a really cool idea the way you have added the drawstring sleeve to the bag and felted it into the bag . I thought you would have to add it after the bag was made . Brilliant !
Absolutely loving the wet felting tutorials with the addition of silks! I love the silks packages you are offering and was very pleased with the 2 I ordered. Such beautiful designs and colors. I am very excited to make some of these bags. Thank you so much for sharing these tutorials and all your knowledge!
I have never nuno felted and am a bit nervous. I hope it is as easy as you make it look. LOL. I think I may try making this as a gift in the orange/red colors of the item that is in the back of your video.
Love your teachings. I learn new tips every time I watch:) Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us. Putting this bag on my ever-growing list of projects to try :)
I love your felting tutorials. I try to make a doll but it is difficult to me to do nice face . Maybe you can teach us how to make tea cozy? My best wishes from Poland.
This is my next project! Thank you! ❤
I missed y'all earlier today but I've just watched while wet felting a pumpkin (it's time!). This is such a fun project and I look forward to trying it with some of the silks I just received. I like the idea someone shared re using these as gift bags. Thanks for another great WW!
Love the draw string bags! We are so lucky to learn from your generosity.
I love this project! ..so beautiful
Great tutorial! Hope to make a few for Christmas presents.
this looks so much fun to make!So many ideas swarming in my brain
Another great tutorial, with tips that every level of felter can use. The silk fabric edge for a drawstring is a great idea. Great tips on altering the rolling technique to keep the resist in place. Beautiful bags. Thank you Marie and LivingFelt.
Beautiful bags! I plan to wet felt this weekend
LOVED this video!!!!
I am loving all the great amount of information allowed with the process pre-recorded! The reminders of what previous tutorials are related to the current project is very helpful to me, also. Aha! I get how to do a resist pattern for a round bottom bag now, too! Extra!
Definitely going to give this one a try! I'm getting some great ideas for gift bags!! Thank you for a great tutorial, and inspiration!
Hi there! Love everything you guys make! This is so beautiful!
hello from Scotland. x
Thanks for this project!
they make great gift bags
Another great WW! I love the colors you chose for the bag. The dark blue is gorgeous. I enjoy watching the wet felting even though I prefer needle felting.
I just got my silk and I am thinking about all the merino wool in my stash and how I am going to make this wonderful bag. Your instructions make it look very easy. You are extremely talented and a great teacher!
i like the bag of wet felting material
Sorry I missed you today, is there a tutorial on how to make that bag with the round flat bottom? That is one thing I have an issue with. I have tried doing it and it doesn't come out right for me so any tips or anything would be greatly appreciated, thank you for the great show as always you guys rock!!
Hello from Nebraska !
Yay
Hi Fairies xx thank you for all you do and the joy you bring into my life, for sure; I just wanted to ask, I'm moving towards wet felting and am unsure which are the best wools to use? is it possible to just use bats? Many thanks, lots of love from Buckinghamshire in England x
im going to make a trip to Texas,
Hello I just love all your videos, but can you tell me how do I get the pdf's for the projects please
Going through wool withdrawal, lol , trying to get things done that need warm weather to do, dyeing…
do you use moreno wool top to make a purse?
I thought I was supposed to do each layer separately, i.e. layer 1, wet and press, FLIP, layer 1, wet and press, FLIP, layer 2, wet and press, FLIP, layer 2, wet and press, FLIP, layer 3, etc. (I am doing 3 layers, plus the decorative colors layer, for a purse). I did not realize that you could do 2 or 3 layers at once, on one side, then 2 or 3 on the other side. This will save me a bunch of time!
I work during your live show, but resist-based projects is just what i need. It seems you use less firm resist now than in your earlier shows. Is that a supply issue or is it based on ease of removing it? Math will have to sink in, especially re: curved lines. Use? To take plate, bowl and utensils to potlucks ( remember those?!) b/c it’ll protect/pad glassware.
Thin resist for fasting felting projects :)
2nd time love you
Hi, in IN
is there no show Aug 24

Hi, i went to this link and this was my first time watching so what i saw was the drawstring bag download for about $3…is this the PDF and is this the format the demos, etc will be using meaning the PDF’s will be available but you have to purchase it to download, which is fine it just sounded like the pdf was available with the demo…so no big deal just need to know that the PDFs are for purchase and would it be the item that was for about $3
I see using this for a wine bottle gift bag
just missed live show by half an hour
Am I the only person who just totally doesn’t get the maths ? …😂
