Doesn’t the flooring require 10mm minimum of expansion. Could leave your self liable if the customer gets a leak on a pipe when the floor moves into it.
Laminate flooring never expands by 10mm although its true that manufacturers recomend 10mm gap. To me there is no need for such gap around the pipe. I always do smaller holes for the pipes as some client dont want pipe collars and i just do silicone in that gap....

@@FinePineNorwichCarpenter can you do something to explain herringbone around a toilet that is already in place. don't think anyone's done a video on that so im sure it would get attention
