I appreciate the sentiment. However, is it not just another abitrary division to divide by class? We dont have to have a group to hate and be against. In my opinion, it's more about individuals than any group.
@@雷神2401I don’t think it’s arbitrary if the rich have no interest in redistributing the wealth and helping the working class Race is arbitrary, but class divisions are materialist like the means of production are in the owning class and not shared by everyone. The wealth is in the hands of the few and not everyone as a whole.
@@somkeshav4143 agreed, it is a collective decision to remove the existence of classes since classes only exist in reference to a collective or two or more groups of people that seemingly exist at odds to each other. Ultimately there should be no classes, because they are made up and accomplish nothing, there is one group, and that is humanity.
Being a member of a historically oppressed or marginalized group isn't a pass to be bigoted or do harm. That's how we continue to stay with the same cycle of problems.
Like, that's like if a bunch of members of a guy's family keep kicking you and a bunch of other people in the dick, but then 2 centuries later, people start kicking their descendants in the dick, who are mostly pacifists, just because other people related to them and their ancestors kicked people in the dick.

I didn't know all of those race massacres and obliterations of black wealth happened because WE were the ones being bigoted. I didn't know we got left out of the New Deal because WE were the ones being bigoted. I didn't know the casual violence that cops inflict on black people who lets face it they KNOW have 0 capacity to harm them is because WE were the ones being bigoted. It does when white people continuously attack minorities in media. The “cycle continues” Because we have white nationalist marching in Ohio (my home state) Also it happened again a few weeks ago when trump said that comment about Haitians. It continues because of Charlottesville. It continues because of the thousands of racist tweets on twitter (who are free to spew hatred because the current director of twitter is Alt right) and news anchors (like fox) ect
I'm tired of being treated like shit because of the color of my skin by unremarkable people whose skin cannot produce melanin but somehow they think that makes them special.
@@Raccoon2401 Same reason why Tulsa, Rosewood and Wilmington experienced race massacres. Black success plants a seed of hate and rage in unambitious white people. Then some rich douchebag starts printing lies and falsehoods to feed that rage and then a race massacre happens.
Did you have this attitude when Haitians were blamed and sent racism from the president of US??? I’m haitian btw and from Ohio dealing with racism irl, I’m starting to turn more and more radical because of it.
I really like this dude, very nice and cool. Here's my 2 cents: Hatred doesn't solve problems, being angry about something the average person can't control is pointless and foolish. If you wanna talk about the average person, we're no different. Politicians and people in power can change whatever they see fit, and most of us, if not all, can only sit by and watch. It's not my fault nor my problem for what my ancestors did in the past. I'm related to someone who worked for Nazi Germany in 1942-1945, am I a Nazi even though I was born in 2005 in the U.S.? Absolutely not, so why am I treated as if I was buying or trading slaves in the 1800s? I live today, and I don't feel much of what people say. I had my obstacles and opportunities. Even if they differ from yours, we're still the same. We're all humans.
I've never really minded because all the "anti white" sentiment I've ever dealt with is online. I've never experienced racism IRL so it just doesn't bother me. My mixed boyfriend does think it should bother me a lot more and would probably side with this mentality. It's hard for me to have compassion for other white people who only seem to care about racism done to them and act like it's a bigger problem even than what others face.
you dont have to care about them, no one does if you KNOW they are being an ass call em out on it. but you cant just call groups inherently bad that is literally how you create a minority
@@FoamBanana I just don't really see that IRL is all. I definitely see men being hated for being men IRL, and I've called that out a lot. But on-whites racism is an extremely online phenomenon, in my experience.
@bespectacledheroine7292 All the extremely online stuff has been bleeding into real life in recent times. Its the entire reason Trump got elected, because online celebs are dictating the entire political discourse. For example, in the friend groups I hang out in, man-hatred is very very common and socially accepted. I have only experienced anti-white racism pretty sparingly, but it has happened to me before. I understand your perspective tho and I respect it

Beautifully put. We need to stop using our differences as excuses to further separate ourselves, but instead celebrate differences and learn from each other. We're all people trying to live our lives, so why make that more difficult for anyone just because of the way they were born?
People be like “Black people cant be racist” like idiots, but prejudice is a thing. PREJUDICE IS SITTING RIGHT THERE AND PEOPLE ACT LIKE THAT’S NOT PART OF THE FRICKIN PROBLEM. This ain’t no “b-but bigger problems” competition. Both racial prejudice and racism as a system both suck. They’re both problems that people shouldn’t be cherry-picking to prioritize because they play a part in the big picture. Racism can’t exist without prejudice and the fact that people act like prejudice isn’t the source of the problem BAFFLES me as someone who is Black and Asian.
Prejudice based on race is literally what racism is. People who say you can't be racist to a race are already too far gone. You can not help them understand anything.
You can be both opressed and an opressor. This is no opression olympics. One person might be disabled, another might be black or queer or asian or native american or poor
I like this new move of reframing it as being against whiteness. Cus the only thing binding together a white austrialian, a German, and a Czech is that they dont experience anti-white racism. White isn't a culture, its a caste. There is a lot of talk about White people recognizing that but watching this really contextualized the harm in poc not recognizing it too. Hating white people isn't helping to the goals of anti-racism. It reinforces the idea that whiteness is anything more than a vague colour scheme based caste system. Unintentionally validates whiteness by making it real.
That's just a pathetic cop out, there is absolutely anti white racism and it should be taken just as seriously as all the other kinds. being against 'whiteness' is just an excuse to hate white people
It’s still a negative stereotype associated with white people. Imagine saying you’re against blackness because the different tribes in Africa had different cultures until the slaves were brought over. You shouldn’t be against any race, if you are it’s so the media can make clickbait articles and then ask you for a subscription. They are profiting off of making our races a problem for each other.
YES!! Thank you, I agree. I’m tired of racism in general, like…Why are we hating each other based on how we look or where we’re from!? It’s so stupid! We are all human beings, and we all live on the same planet known as earth. We are all part of one race…the human race. I always try to be kind, humble, modest, pleasant, respectful, and understanding towards people. I try to understand their point of view, sure…I might not completely get it, because I didn’t experience it, but I try. Sure, I’m white, but who cares! That’s just what I am, but it’s not Who I am. Focus on who I am as a person, not what I look like. I’m also a woman, but I’m not a girly girl, I’m just…me. And I’m autistic (which is also a minority, we’ve been oppressed too, you’re not alone on this) But, anyway. Let’s just not focus on race so much, let’s just focus on who we are as people…and just vibe. Great video my guy, you nailed it right home. We need less hate, less negativity, less pessimism. And more love, positivity, and optimism. As this one channel I follow once said “Kindness is contagious, when you are kind you inspire others…be the spark” Anyway, great video, and god bless.

I agree, racism against white people is not okay. It's a good thing that not a single white American has ever even once experienced racism in their lives and they know it. Because, let's face it? A black person can call you all the names in the world, and ultimately it doesn't mean anything. But when you call us names? Here is what you communicate : "I'm better than you." If there is nothing else to consider? Remember this : Black people need WHITE consent to set laws in their interests. NOT the other way around.
"i didnt realise racism against white people was okay according to so many people who are supposedly meant to be accepting and kind" This is exactly the nonsensical takes that this narrative encourages. 1. We're not all some influencer online stoking hate and division. 2. Calling out racism and bigotry isn't being "racist to white people". This way of thinking is juvenile and simply gives bigots and racists of all descriptions an easy out by saying "you're anti-x", no fam, I'm anti-bigotry.

I am a firm believer that hating anyone for a condition they have no control over is wrong. Those who do so are only adding to the problem. However, being angry about the injustices done to black people and others over hundreds of years (and still being perpetuated today) is an appropriate human reaction. This is what fuels the civil rights movements of yesteryear, the present, and the future and keeps us fighting for a better tomorrow. Sounds pretty "un-childish" to me.

For some it just takes getting hit once, and for others it's getting their gumball machine stolen lol. Anyways great video as always Ceros.
Remember how people in Buffalo were minding their own business buying groceries 2 years ago? Then some dude shows up and starts shooting them up? By the way? This is what white people love. They love being in a position where the worst of them can commit pointless acts of ultraviolence on black people who won't fight back.
1:07 I think it’s safer for some known white leftist creators to come forward to say it, I just think it’s important to address two key points and a bonus one that I think head on tackles another issue related, that I’ve solidified in my mind that makes this discourse nearly impossible to tread through as it currently stands; The amount of lefties that partake in anti white idpol is pretty marginally low, like few and far between will you see someone who’s actual political agenda is “white skin bad”, and secondly those voices are the ones that get the most attention from people who are already ardently against leftists and progressives so those right wing anti progressive journalists and media figures are making the issue seem way bigger and way worse than it is. And when it comes to anti male IdPol I think the “especially white men” trope needs to go away along with the anti male IdPol, if you think about it, men of color who feel alienated from anti male rhetoric are going to go into safe spaces with other alienated men, a majority of which by default were already white men which is a gateway for worse ideologies to fester
There’s a difference between primary hate and secondary hate. If group A starts doing harm to group b long enough(primary hate), Group b will develop a dislike (secondary hate) towards group A. This is like in a relationship where a partner is abusive and the other partner is nasty to them AFTER the relationship ended….but at a mass scale. (Probably not a good analogy😅)
I think it is expecting a lot of human nature to expect a person to step back and say, "Whoa! Person in Group B sure hates me! But that's OK, seeing how I am in Group A, which has historically oppressed Group B, even though that individual and I are complete strangers to each other."
Yeah but we're not talking about group A and B anymore. We're not talking about the abusive relationship anymore, we're talking about group C and D. We're talking about the abusive relationships kids. Most people point towards the bank who's been deep inside each of these groups since they were babies. Yes punish abusers, teach them what they did was wrong, but also tell them that it wasn't their fault, give them a scapegoat and they're behavior will change more likely(their are problems greater than people being toxic that affect someone proclivities to be violent everyone knows this, every politician knows this, every banker knows this but not every dumb person gets this). Anything else your just giving someone original sin, or a mark of cain.
@@wielandba You may be complete strangers to each other but not to the world itself. Remember past oppression were done by ordinary people like you and me. Some were against, some not and most were just okay/apathetic with it. If I meet a person from group A I have to consider that ‘Them thinking this way or enabling this behavior is completely possible’ and it’s not like the world actively changed conditions to abolish the lines of reasonings that allow past atrocities. Also I think this comment section is using hate too loosely. Most (from my experience) are distrustful of white folk because you know racist ideologies are mostly marketed to them and they’re not in a position to incentivize disagreement. Like with women rightfully hesitant with most men despite each individual man being different. You recognize the possibility and you make precautions.
Im technically white, but im a mix of many different ethnicities. Im mostly italian. My grandfather's grand parents came to america on a boat in the early nineteen hundreds, along with many other italians. Those people had nothing to do with slavery because it had already ended by the time they got there. Holding on to specific portions of history while ignoring other parts is insane, considering I could argue that my ancestors on an island south of Italy were raped and enslaved by the moors from africa over a thousand years ago. History is important to know so that it isnt repeated.
You would have to go back a thousand years to mention the injustices committed against Italians? Sounds like your people are doing fairly well, Also your ancestors may not have anything to do with slavery but they sure did come to country to benefit from that labor

I always feel for people younger than myself and this really drives home many points about WHY older millennials and gen x need to look out for younger millennials and zoomers. I can't even touch on everything you covered, but one thing that stood out to me is your friend who wanted to change his race. Like you pointed out, whiteness was invented and we only need to accept it in as much as we need to be sensitive to not do harmful things that our harmful ancestors did. But we can choose to love our ethnic histories and family histories, we get to choose which parts we consider admirable. It's important for us to rewrite "whiteness" if we can now, so that we set the new tone and narrative for what that is. It doesn't have to be set in stone that the ancestors get the final word.
I grew out of the hating white folks phase some people don’t. But I’ll say this! don’t confuse mentioning what members of an oppressive group did past/present as being racist towards them. You don’t have to be racist to help with racism….you just need one racist guy and a bunch of enablers(most people are enablers to most bad stuff) Be cautious of comments using ‘The’ and a direction. We may not be responsible for what our ancestors or governments did…..but when there’s litter on the ground we still gotta pick it up. The duty of the living is to correct past wrongs and make better decisions for the ones after us.
Privilege is a buff not a level. Buffs only kick in under certain circumstances. Many people don't have the ability for their puffs to help them out enough to raise there level even when they have a lot of privilage.
I'm sorry but I do gotta comment on the privilege discussion. We really need to stop dividing everyday people with "privilege" or lack of obstacles. Everyone has hardship, everyone's mother can die, even the rich can't bring back the dead. It would be nice to be rich to bury the dead respectfully, once you can do that you've got privilege, that's true privilege. The privilege of picking a more expensive scam or having to live a in a suburban scam or having not having to face the crime and drug scam as much doesn't have much privilege involved. The rich will keep us divided as well. I grew up in a world being taught to love everyone equally, I do, I don't feel loved equally back tho. It's a surefire way to make people forget about the real issues and to radicalize people. We cant even talk about white people without the "but systemically" they do have privilege. Shut up about my privilege. I have the main obstacle that you do, I can bleed.
This shouldn't be controversial, but racism, is bad regardless of who does it; white on black, black on white, Chinese on black, white on Chinese, etc. nobody should be judging anybody based on their race, rather their character and how they act

@FemboyKaiSaku granted, we came a long way with fighting yt suprem@cy, but we still have a fight on our hands. Ignoring it does not make it go away. The main reason why racism is not as bad as it was in the past is because you have people who constantly point it out. Glad other folks are saying this. I'm Latina so I'm not even white, and it always bothered me how much people online just genuinely hate white people and want white people to hate themselves. I'm always met with "white people can't experience racism, because I redefined racism to specifically exclude them" n stuff and it just never sat right with me. Even if I made a few jokes about white folks myself. People are just so gross about it! It always bothers me in media too whenever some Hollywood hack is like "hey let's take this story from white European culture that's set in a historical setting and just replace them with minorities even though they make no historical sense here" or "let's replace the canonically white character's race with a different one because representation", it's just so insidious! Like, it gives a vibe of "everyone else deserves representation and their culture, history, and stories respected, except white people", very rules for me but not for thee. And I LIKE representation! I think it's very important! But man. People just can't help but be vitriolic about it. Edit: Also yes!! The conversation about race/ethnicity is so black and white both literally and figuratively in this country. The left constantly forgets about us Latinos, Latino American history isn't taught in schools nearly at all. Every ones knows Brown V Board of Education but no one talks about how it was a Hispanic family fighting for their rights in California against segregation there that was the precursor to it! When i try to look up how latinos were treated during segregation times I get NOTHING, I only get information about black people. Even when I use all my google-fu to try and make it focus on Latinos I get nothing. Some randos tell me we were basically treated as white, I can't even confirm that though because I can't find anything about us! The left constantly acts as if black people are the only minority here and it's very obnoxious. Especially when in our current times Latinos are the ones who face the most active oppression and backlash. Black Americans' biggest issues were solved ages ago and now they're left with bad cultural attitudes and generational poverty. Meanwhile the president elect openly calls us all r*pists and fearmongers about us daily and talking about us in the most dehumanizing ways, and he just wants to put us all in camps. Every Republican in the primaries openly supported going to war with/invading Mexico (under the pretense of the drug war). But no, none of that matters, to the left they see some statistics about latino prison gangs buddying up with white n**i prison gangs and some stat that says a lot of latinos put white on the census and then conclude that Latinos are just white so our problems are fake.
Thank you… for giving me more of a reason to hate them with that representation example. It’s the fact the most pressing issue to these people is a white character being played by a black person…goes to show how privileged they are that THAT!! Is their main issue… Do you realize how unbelievably angry that makes me? As a Haitian from Ohio who has dealt with racism all my life in REAL life??? Glares, I was assaulted and called horrific names, but for the past month now it has gotten worse with the president saying what he said about us…fast forward to now even after what he said about us they still voted him in… A few months ago a bunch of bigots were marching in my streets with hateful flags…so you telling me the “DEI” is a more pressing issue than what Haitians are going through??

How refreshing it is to hear someone articulate the hard truths of privilege, AND the implications of reparations, AND why no-one should hate themselves or others for shit beyond their control. Summary: Hate yourself for being a willfully ignorant asshole, not for being the product of a society with hundreds of years of baked-in racism. Learn, and now go live life doing better!
Black people are not oppressed in 2024, it’s not 1960s we can do darn near anything we want to do in terms of career, life, and success that black Americans in the past could not. Will some people have stupid things to say and dislike you? Yes, but that doesn’t actually hinder us anymore and miserable and hateful people will find any excuse to dislike and look down on someone so you gotta disregard them. ALSO: I don’t like how the same “activist” that go on about racism NEVER bring up the negatives of our culture, they never address the gang culture and glorification that is literally un aliving young black men, or the women that always bring up hating black women but try to justify the walking stereotype that is Sexy Red’s brand.
FD and Lil Bill just want white people to go extinct to make up for the wrongdoings of their ancestors, they are laughably idiotic and immoral. In particular, I saw Lil Bill once tell a white man that had a biracial daughter that he wasn’t allowed to comment on her life or essentially act like a father to her because he is white. Just watched BMINFL, he seems ok but his attitude seems to be “it’s ok for us to act the way we think white people do because we are marginalized”, and well good luck winning an election with that attitude, went well for you guys this time around… Not sure about the last guy but I’m sure it’s nothing that impressive if you’re recommending people like FD and Lil Bill. I’ve learned things from those guys and changed my perspectives due to some of their content, but they are white revenge fantasists at the end of the day, which is reprehensible.
I think I do agree with this. I mean to put it simply, hating someone for something that they can’t control is ridiculous. You shouldn’t hate someone for being African, European, Asian, Middle Eastern, Native American, Pacific Islander, Hispanic, etc, because that’s not something a person can control. Now, there’s obviously history here too, where the ancestors of many white Americans did horrible things in that country. But to then hate modern white people simply because they are white and their ancestors did things that they cannot control, is kind of stupid. Because I know many white people who aren’t racist and they recognize what happened was bad, but they themselves are not currently perpetuating the racism that their ancestors created. They are in fact stopping the cycle of racism by not being racist. That being said, there are also still racist white people today, and I believe they should be held accountable and should be shamed because what they’re doing makes no sense. They’re hating different races… for being different races? Again like I mentioned before, that’s something completely out of people’s control, so what exactly does this racism even accomplish? Do they think people can just magically change their race so that they can be comfortable? 😭 And you could apply the same logic to the other side, what does hating white people for being white accomplish? Do people think that by doing this it’ll make white people magically change into something.. not white? Basically, bottom line for me is hate someone because they’re an asshole. Don’t hate someone for something they can’t change, because then that makes you the asshole. Don’t be racist, be understanding, and if you face racism you should call out those people because hate is the last thing this world needs. I wish everyone reading this the best of luck, and hope you’re all well.
I refuse to participate in conversations about "white" privilege. Noone seeks to discuss "white privilege" for a good reason. Anyone who asks does not have your best interest at heart, nor usually, their own.

@@Dmark8887 so you deal with hate and oppression, so in response you decide to spread even more hate? this is why, the cycle of hatred never ends. Because people think "i got bullied, so i bully others" is a justification.
It's perfectly acceptable to hate racist individuals (although perhaps not particularly constructive for you, them or society as a whole) but by applying that fury to all whites (or all members of any race) you yourself are ignoring the individual and lumping them in with others based on nothing but superficial similarities. No matter how supposedly insignificant their plight is, by adopting a stigma towards a certain colour, nationality or otherwise superficially linked people, you are falling into the same pitfall that the aggressors of the past have. By supporting that mindset, you're perpetuating racism within society. Racism is bad. No matter who it targets. Let's learn to leave it behind.
The problem isn't the people. You can't be mad at the people, they are only operating in a system that incentivizes what they do. Be mad at the the system.

@@Mrhellslayerz again that's comparing apples and oranges. Not every person who is born a female is automatically a SA survivor. That's a first hand traumatic experience. Being born a certain way is not a traumatic experience. And I feel like that's really insensitive to try to compare that.

A similar discussion can be had of women blaming all men for what a handful of awful men do to them.
@@Mrhellslayerz the dude literally used SA survivor as an example.apples and oranges. It's not the same, and a SA survivor choosing to not be around men because of their traumatic personal experience is not out of hate or sexism. It would be typically out of fear and trauma. Like imagine two people. Person A, had a really traumatic personal experience that they still have to mentally or even physically have deal with the consequences with. While person B, had a great great grandpa who had a really traumatic experience aswell, but Person B is like trying to take that trauma for themselves as if they personally experienced it. Absolutely not, so why am I treated as if I was buying or trading slaves in the 1800s? I live today, and I don't feel much of what people say. I had my obstacles and opportunities.
What binds those people together is that they are all white in white majority countries.
That's just a pathetic cop out, there is absolutely anti white racism and it should be taken just as seriously as all the other kinds. being against 'whiteness' is just an excuse to hate white people
It’s still a negative stereotype associated with white people. Imagine saying you’re against blackness because the different tribes in Africa had different cultures until the slaves were brought over. 1:07 I think it’s safer for some known white leftist creators to come forward to say it, I just think it’s important to address two key points and a bonus one that I think head on tackles another issue related,that I’ve solidified in my mind that makes this discourse nearly impossible to tread through as it currently stands;
The amount of lefties that partake in anti white idpol is pretty marginally low, like few and far between will you see someone who’s actual political agenda is “white skin bad”, and secondly those voices are the ones that get the most attention from people who are already ardently against leftists and progressives so those right wing anti progressive journalists and media figures are making the issue seem way bigger and way worse than it is.

You would have to go back a thousand years to mention the injustices committed against Italians? Sounds like your people are doing fairly well, Also your ancestors may not have anything to do with slavery but they sure did come to country to benefit from that labor
No one cares.
Are Italians living in ghettos right now???
Is here rampant racism towards Italians right now…no.
So I don’t care.
I had the president of the US claim my people were eating pets in Ohio which lead to a bunch of bigots marching my streets..
@@manmanopoly8047 you don't have to go back 1000 years. Literally at the same time of the trans Atlantic slave trade whites were being sold to north Africa to be slaves and sex slaves. Look it up instead of thinking white people are the only ones capable of slavery you are insane. No hatred is justified on the basis of race.
You don’t have to be racist to help with racism….you just need one racist guy and a bunch of enablers(most people are enablers to most bad stuff)
Be cautious of comments using ‘The’ and a direction.

Can you give me a example of white discrimination in the REAL world??
Not on social media but the real world, because I would love to hear this.
Is their main issue…
Do you realize how unbelievably angry that makes me?

A few months ago a bunch of bigots were marching in my streets with hateful flags…so you telling me the “DEI” is a more pressing issue than what Haitians are going through??
Segregation was mostly a Southeastern US problem. There wasn’t a lot of Hispanic in that area in large enough numbers to warrant it.
coming from a place in europe where everyone was white, onky two people in my kindergarden were middle eastern. here and there someone knew or had seen someone who is black. then i went to live in a metropole and holy, around half people are white, calling slavic people into that, and everyone else has ancestors from around the world^^ it used to be so new for me the first weeks but by now, its so normal that everyone looks different that i dont even realize anymore that people are not white half of the time, as opposed to my childhood, where it would be the first thing i noticed of people on tv
This is nice. We need to unite in 2024. The cycle of hatred can be broken today
I ain't even gonna get into it. Ima just recommend you reach out to FD Signifier, Lil Bill, Black Man in a Foreign Land, and Olurinatti.
Just watched BMINFL, he seems ok but his attitude seems to be “it’s ok for us to act the way we think white people do because we are marginalized”, and well good luck winning an election with that attitude, went well for you guys this time around…
Not sure about the last guy but I’m sure it’s nothing that impressive if you’re recommending people like FD and Lil Bill.
At this point I hate the modern ones too.

@@Mrhellslayerz the dude literally used SA survivor as an example.apples and oranges.
It's not the same, and a SA survivor choosing to not be around men because of their traumatic personal experience is not out of hate or sexism.

It is not the same actively avoiding someone because the person avoiding them is racist or sexist.
What acestors did is absoultely not a similar discussion to actual experienced trauma.
