    Good timing - I’m currently uploading a video explaining why I’m selling mine.

      Great to hear! The T7 is such a breath of fresh air! It is simple. It works. And... it's the sexiest of ALL the adventure bikes currently for sale... And it is the least expensive to boot. Go figure.

    Still waiting for the AJP PR7 review. Why the delay? The importer near you didn't answer your email? Didn't allow or doesn't have one bike for the review? Thanks

    • @manybikes

      Well... the importer near me... there are 3 of them. 1 Did not respond. One had it on the floor for 1 day and it was purchased and taken home. The 3rd... is three hours away and said I could "come record it" if I gave him $1k ... But I could not sit on it... or move it ... I could just walk around it and make my video.

    • @manybikes

      Try to find a used one... The dealership scene is crazy and prices are out of this world. They can charge nearly anything they want and the "right customer" will pay it. I saw a T7 for $16,999 the other day! That is $7k over the MSRP!!!

    Bit disappointing initially - I thought this was going to be a group comparo by 4 guys, with 4 differently set up T7s, and why they'd been set up differently, pros/cons etc. Having said that it is a well-cut-together video, bringing all your thoughts on the bike together, in a useful and informative way. Glad I watched it :)

    • @manybikes
      @manybikes  3 года назад +3

      Tanks for your feedback. The video you thought you were going to be watching sounds like a WINNER! I'll have to get to work collecting the data for that... Each rider has set their bike up differently in relation to seating position, luggage, pegs, etc... Good call. It really is a fantastic machine. I personally think it needs 20 more HP to make it a great bike all the way around... Solo, 2-up, fully loaded etc... Thanks for watching!

      @@manybikes Yeah, more power is always nice. Finding my Africa Twin a little underwhelming on the road, but maybe a pipe/tune and different gearing could pep it up a bit. Would be good to see that different T7, different set-up vid. Tricky to find the bikes and the riders I guess. Love your work Kyle. On a separate note, I got some tyre advice from you a while ago (Many thanks), plus watched an awesome tyre comparo that gave me some ideas. Finally decided on a Mitas E07+ rear (Chris Birch uses them) and an Annakee Wild front (Great grip in all conditions). It will be interesting to see how that works.

    I can’t wait to get mine. I’m more than frustrated at Yamaha as a company. The 890 drops this year and is very popular and yet I can go to a showroom down the street in Idaho and purchase one. Same goes for the 1100 Africa twin and yet I’ve had a deposit in for over six months now and still no word and just excuses from the Yamaha dealer. Maybe you should do a video on why Yamaha is so poor at delivering product in a timely manner?

    • @manybikes
      @manybikes  3 года назад

      I feel your pain. Here is a video Yamaha sent to all dealers a few months back... ABS is an issue for the T7 and they can't send a bike out without ABS. Take a watch: ruclips.net/video/5EK226OLL6M/видео.html It's interesting no? We would love more T7's here on our floor! We have not seen one for months. Our dealership has 2 T7's slated for delivery in the upcoming weeks... and we have three customers with deposits down. Crazy times for sure...

    Your buddy thought the T7 front end felt lighter than his 690??? I’m not understanding that one. I have a 701 and my friend has a 2021 T7 (which is almost 100lbs heavier) and I definitely didn’t think the T7 felt lighter in the front or anywhere for that matter. The fuel tank on the T7 made the bike feel much more top heavy than my 701. I really do like the T7 but don’t think it could outperform the 690/701 off road. Definitely better on the road because of the twin cylinder and being heavier. I can pull the front end up on the 701 almost anytime. No way on the T7. To me that makes the front end lighter on the 690/701. Thanks for the review 🤙

    • @manybikes
      @manybikes  3 года назад

      Yeah, having ridden the 690 Enduro back to back to the T7 on road… standing on the pegs or even in the seat the T7 is super flickable side to side whereas the 690 is much less responsive, due to rake I think. With a full tank, the T7 is way more top heavy! That is for sure! The 690 / 701 is a better off road machine

    This bike is still way to heavy, and really to be more specific, top heavy. Put some luggage on this and it's like picking up an Africa Twin.

    • @manybikes
      @manybikes  3 года назад

      Aren't they all? Picking up any of the 650+ cc Adv bikes is a chore before luggage and then after luggage is added... Whew! Many times riding Solo I have had to take my luggage off in order to pick up my bike... then reload. Makes it quite an incentive NOT to crash!!! Thanks for watching!
