Yeah, on very hard with my netrunner build he was super easy. Short circuit stunned him and did a sh*t ton of damage, I think 5 short circuit and he was dead, only used my Widowmaker against the trash mobs that spawns. He should be Gael's/fume knight's level at least

I love how, before Edgerunners, Smasher was a cool but terrifying villain's henchman, and the boss fight against him something that felt interesting, maybe a bit anticipated for the thrill of it.....and after Edgerunner everyone hates this motherfucker's borged up guts, and the boss fight against him is not a simple obstacle on the road towards your objective at the heart of Arasaka, but an act of righteous vengeance and retribution

For some reason, I'd feel like David, Rebecca, and all the Edgerunner crew (including Rogue) was watching V (controlled by Johnny) the whole time while he solos Smasher.
Seeing V with David's jacket, Lucy's wire, Rebecca's shotgun, and all the other paraphernalia, and he was getting his ass kicked thoroughly was a joy to see. I'm sure Adam felt as afraid and desperate as he made David feel on that one night, and even moreso once V made him realize that he lived for nothing right before putting him down like a dog
They should’ve given him his Sandy cause imagine he just teleports next to you or he starts moving at normal speed when you use a Sandy, and also they should’ve given him much more damage as well as health and much more cinematic attacks to make him as terrifying as he was in the anime
One thing we can more certain after the phantom liberty update is that the sequel has the potential to be the best next gen rpg. Freaking loving this game, man
Honestly, they should have done phases with Smasher, like at first he's disabling your chrome, so you have to use guns, then he switches it up to using a sandevistan to outsized your bullets removing the restricted use of implants he had, then it ends off with him going full psycho and just charging at you on fire in a semi-feral state ad you've worn him down and now he's just a shell of what he once was when you beat him.
Most satisfying way to kill him for me is with the gorilla arms while he still on the ground no arms and beaten I ask him "HEY.....THIS MESS....MY FAULT"

There has to be a mod that makes him 10x more difficult and buffs his HP, I might try to get that mod once I play through the game again after the DLC drop.
It's crazy how much one song can change the feel, taking an otherwise menacing enemy and making it a more hopeful feel avenging the chooms we lost along the way.
