For such a hard game, Soulsborne games have some of the most amazing sceneries and character models in video games. There’s so much more appealing elements to add onto the difficulty
Scratching the surface of Soulsborne "Difficulty" provides one a peek into an amazingly drab and uniquely opaque world, one which you can shape with your actions, however minute they may be. Its a really neat thing and is what propelled my enjoyment of the souls series and its others to the moon.

Ds1 is my favorite game and Dark Souls is my favorite game series, I just got done with my first playthrough of Elden Ring a while ago and just a few days ago I realized it was the end. I sat there, horrified, realizing that there would be no more Dark Souls content. no more Dark Souls games, no more lore, story, emotion. Despite being a hard game, with hopelessness everywhere and a dark world surrounding you, making people think that the only thing that matters is to finished the game as fast as possible, it's when you finish the game, that you just realize how good of a game it was. The exact moment when you realize there won't be anymore content, the real "end". Makes me cry just thinking about it. It's only now that you realize, that you've gone hollow.

Listen, this is not the end, even though the weight of your soul feels impossible to bear. In this world of darkness and desolation, it’s easy to believe there’s no hope, that the light has faded forever. But just as the Undead rise again, you too can rise once more. The shadows around you are not eternal, and though the suffering runs deep, the flame inside you still burns, however faint. Every step you take, no matter how painful, is a testament to your strength. Even in the darkest of worlds, there is the possibility of redemption, of finding a glimmer, no matter how small. Your struggle is not over, bearer of the curse. Keep walking, not for what you’ve lost, but for what you may yet find. The embers of hope still glow, and in time, the darkness that surrounds you will fade.

I feel dark souls is about clinging to the tiniest bit of hope, even if its a single thread, to hopefully overcome adversity and challenge. Even the story's in the world of rekindling that dying ember to go on for just another age, only to know that it won't change that eventual end of the fire we still kindle it striving to continue this dying and terrible world, to one day bring forth a change and chance to have those you care about live and continue. This even applies to real life as we all strive for success even if it's slim and we want those we care for to live and thrive, to continue to a new age to be happy. Sorry for rambling i just got really passionate about this.

I love this game lore so much guys. Artorias, 4 knights, Gwyn, gods, dragons, undead, bomfires, souls, ashen. It's so interesting, everything here is so connected with each other. Game universe is so cool, I can talk about that for hours
I think this video is more displaying the lore continuity between ds1 and 3. Ds2 is kind of its own thing entirely with only vague connections to the other two games.
I know this is supposed to be a dark souls amv but man watching this video and hearing this song reminds me of my first journey as a tarnished. The lore of this game is just something else
this is one of the most beautiful videos i’ve ever seen
I always get upset when I see dark souls, now fully understanding the lore and how far the world fell from greatness its why Dark Souls 3 really made me sad rather than bleeding with nostalgia when I saw Anor Londo.
this is the best edit i've ever seen in my life of anything for real
"have you ever die 234 times just by playing a single game feeling hopeless to beat the boss having no motivation to continue playing and want to give up yeah me too but with every death i grew stronger study the boss attack unlocking 6th sense and eventually you will win, give up is an option but you have to keep moving forward"
-the ancient one
I love this game lore so much guys. Artorias, 4 knights, Gwyn, gods, dragons, undead, bomfires, souls, ashen. It's so interesting, everything here is so connected with each other. Game universe is so cool, I can talk about that for hours
I don't know how I didn't realize how well this song fits into the world of dark souls
The fact that the first part of the video starts with Dark Souls 3 and goes back to 1 at the end is making me shed a tear.
I like to imagine every souls protag is the same guy, just reincarnated or revived to deal with the newest ages bullshit
Thank you for this edit I just got a huge nostalgic flood I spent 1600+ hours in ds3😭
1:54 Alva set. I see you are a person of fine taste as well
I like how Dark Souls shows how insignficant you are compared to everything. You are just a survivor, your only goal is to keep going.
Such a beautiful game. Dark Souls is a masterpiece of dark fantasy.
Gracias por este video, lo necesitaba en mi vida
this whole video made my love for darksouls even more deeper
The best little dark age edit!
When was this made? Feels like it's existed since forever. Love it!
The flame that started it all
But,but ds2….
Man ds2 is underrated asf fr : (
let's not talk about Ds2
agree @@Danteinside
ds2 is that drug addict cousin you like to party with but hide it from your family.
I think this video is more displaying the lore continuity between ds1 and 3. Ds2 is kind of its own thing entirely with only vague connections to the other two games.
This goes so insanely hard, I downloaded it incase it ever goes down. I need this forever.
My dad used to play dark souls 1 he was so close at beating it but had lost the game and now here I am carrying his dark souls legacy
Undead, I swear to Gwyn, not simping for a Pygmy!
One of my fav little dark age vids
im suffering on elden ring and now u guys make me wanna play dark soul, i love it.
Skill issue
"Just know that if you hide-"
Prince Lothric pops up*
Nice touch.
I know this is supposed to be a dark souls amv but man watching this video and hearing this song reminds me of my first journey as a tarnished. Figuring out the mechanics of the game, feeling like a complete badass after beating difficult bosses, becoming stronger, and just being so revered yet looked down upon at the same time.
As someone whos never played Darksouls but only Elden Ring, this is a masterpiece.
Спасибо большое вам что включили все части игры этой замечательной серии
