Hello, I’m interested in making my own tagine and have read that a micaceous earthenware clay is recommended. Could you please tell me how you use your tagine; ie, stovetop or in an oven? Thank you for your wonderful video.😊
He says terracotta:) and yes, each piece is dried on a shelf and then put into a kiln, or "oven" that reaches 2232 degrees Fahrenheit, I think this is ovenware, but not sure, so it's possible the temp is higher. Mid-range clay, that I use, has a final "firing" or "cook" at 2232 degrees Fahrenheit. Hope that helps!
