That JD at .319 was and is historically horrid and was given 5 years to do his thing, peaked at 7-9 with Mac's roster. Drafted some good players but didn't approach building a winner. If they don't make these facts clear in their article they are cherry picking to get attention make the Jets look bad nationally. Not fair imo.

You are banking on him being any sort of healthy next year which sure could happen but I think more than likely he'll be out for significant time or look just as mediocre as this year. Then its 2026 and you have a mid pick again which you cannot use on a top prospect qb. Every year people say the qb class is bad or generational and get it wrong. Just get a top 5 pick and start actually rebuilding around a young gun.
